Gemini < digital currency exchanger > was started by the Winklevoss twins in 2015 and is still going strong, so I think they might use this as a back end for this ETF in a way to fund the ETF. The structure is already in place, it just needs approval from the SEC to go ahead. ^smile^

My guess is, a week or two after it was listed.  Huh

Or once the ETF is approved, will we have to wait for the Winkelvoss ETF management to announce when they will be open for business and be ready at that point?
They will do it as soon as possible. I was checking the latest news every day, but it seems the final part of the bullish trend of bitcoin is depend on the 11 march. We will not see it before 11 march comes.

How long it takes COIN to get listed if approved is really up to the BATS exchange.

i edited your question to give u your answer

if the winklvii are prepared it may be just a press of a button to spam media that they are open in minutes. or it might be a few days/weeks/etc for the winklevii to finalise the last few tweaks before going live. no one can know for sure.

I've checked google every few days, but don't have a good answer on this. If the ETF is approved, are they ready to take orders instantly? Can I call up Fidelity that morning and ask them to buy COIN with my IRA funds and expect that they are going to be able to act immediately?

Thanks for any info/insight/links or even random rumors if that's all you've got. :-)
