No one knows if Gox will fade away, or remain a top 5 exchange, but the good old days were great w/ a whole lot of bad mixed in.

If this was 2011 almost EVERYONE would be waiting days (sometimes weeks) for Gox to come back online.
The newbies have it so good.
I remember the first bull run, when $1 to $2.50 to $4.00 was amazing.... and a week or two later BTC jumped from $14 to $19 in a matter of seconds. Here is the action on the first major top:
This is a 5 minute chart, the trading was awesome
Just a short time after the last spot on that chart, this forum was flooded with trolls and negative spammers and BTC lost ~50% in a single day.
