This kind of thing doesn't just happen to you, I'm also having the same problem with spam messages coming in almost every day, especially by sites that I never registered, of course I have no other choice but to report and be marked as spam or block.

For now every incoming spam message I always clean and I don't want to read it get gifts, bonuses and so on, except official email.

OP, if you experience the same thing again maybe you can choose to stop advertising, report spam or unsubscribe or Block, maybe that's the right step for you now.

My gmail spam folder is full of bitcoin jackpot winner like 0.1 btc, 0.5 btc.

Why do you even spend time looking at what you have in the spam folder? Such e-mails are mostly there for a reason, and are usually automatically deleted after a while. No one will give you 0.1 or 0.5 BTC, but the people behind these messages know that they will always catch someone naive who will believe in such things.

It is always wise to have a few emails that we can categorize into several categories:

  • Personal email for family and close friends.
  • Business e-mail related to our business.
  • E-mail for online orders, registration on trusted sites.
  • Email for everything related to cryptocurrencies.

Each e-mail should have a unique password composed of at least 10+ characters (lowercase/uppercase letters, numbers, special characters). For better privacy and security, ProtonMail is recommended.

I suggest you try to play with the spam filter to reduce spam or just ignore them and keep in mind that there is no free money online no one will give such a big amount like the email you receive.

and he says that all these emails are already in the spam folder, but for some reason, he wants to clean them from there as well. I personally do not believe that is possible
btw. why does anyone read emails from a spam folder at all? in Gmail there is an option "delete all messages from spam", so in just one click delete them all, everything else is a waste of time.

You have a point, but that also means you have to pay for the domain [IMO, throwaway emails (already mentioned by a few users) are slightly better].

Custom domains can be as low as $8 per year on NameCheap, and a higher email service plan from a decent email client can be as low as $5 per month. It's something that people should be considering if they're willing to pay for convenience.

You can try to unsubscribe from these promo emails by clicking the link (you will usually find it at the end of the message) if you get annoyed by them.
Sorry sir there is no unsubscribe link.
Even if there was a way to unsubscribe to these things, such actions from the recipient would actually confirm that their email is an active one [it just makes it worse]!

Using a custom domain makes this far easier as you wouldn't need to register a new email account every time I change addresses.

That's why you should have an optional email and avoid registering an account on low-reputation websites, your emails may be distributed or sold for fraudulent promotions.

It is recommended to register optional gmail account more than 1, index all websites in file (excel) if you register for airdrop, always check inbox messages from valid sites and delete all spam messages and scam messages in inbox.

It seems that you have signed up to many websites with your email and the spam scam army got you on their record. Even if my private email isn't shared, I'm still receiving some few of these scams.

Well, I guess those websites that I've signed up for got those email spotters and selling it to the black market for this purpose.

This ideas are great sir i will follow this method. Even though i didn’t fall for any spam by this spam link but i just telling to newbie that how people try to scam people by spamming in every minutes!!
That's how they live and it is what they feed to their family, soon they'll be the one to get hit by karma. Thanks for the share, there could be newbies in here that isn't aware of this and hopefully they get the warning.

It is a lesson to never share your primary email address publicly or to social media or to someone you don't know because it could happen to you again.
As long as you don't click on the link to the destination website, you are safe and nothing will happen to you unless they send you another email.
Maybe you can block the email by activating the Block Messages feature in your Gmail account.
But if the email goes straight to the Spam folder, there's nothing to worry about.

That's the specific reason why it became a habit for me to change my main email address from time to time. Using a custom domain makes this far easier as you wouldn't need to register a new email account every time I change addresses.

If REAL we all knew that spammers would likely to send those scammy links. Ive also have a lot on my spam folder for my airdrop wallet. These kind of junks should be auto spam everytime youve got some link of new winning reported it to be directed to spam. You might click it accidentally and entice with the scam prizes.

Sorry sir there is no unsubscribe link.  I think they have my data on their store they personally sent text by any automated services which was told before by BitMaxz.

If your email is already shared publicly then expect to get spam by these from many different emails because there is a tool for marketing that scrapes all public email through Google.

Don't use your main email when registering in different websites. The best is make many emails, one for each subject: personal use, finance, cryptocurrency,  shopping, etc.

There are some services like Firefox relay which allow you to generate new email aliases for free when registering in new websites

You  probably create a few accounts in different casinos and similar services using this email.
Y suggestion is that you create a new email just for thus purpose, like a throw away email.

Selling email is common in marketing so maybe like the above said you signup on some websites that do not follow the privacy policy.

You have given your email to a lot of people on the internet so it's not surprising to see those spams with phishing links.

.... even if you block again try to spam!!
They already have your email so it's pointless to block them all. They will just add it to their mailing list and send you over and over using other accounts. Set up a new one and be more careful.

.... Better for signing up on unknown platform use your dummy mail and not the real one to avoid being spammed by unwanted mails.
Or never sign up at all.

This always happen if you sign up on unknown platform or any wanna bee airdrops so you need to be careful on those since some of them just collecting your email and sell it multiple times from other people who want to do bad things. Better for signing up on unknown platform use your dummy mail and not the real one to avoid being spammed by unwanted mails.
