well, let's see what happens. my gut feeling is that he'll get pretty much nothing significant done and history will regard him as an insane blip. he's one guy. the government is made up of millions of lifers who ain't gonna do a 180 overnight.

i kinda hope things are shaken up just to see what it looks like. it can't be much shittier than it is already, but i'm not holding my breath.

If he doesn't deliver what he promised, that will be critical, and he might be fired by a vote at Congress, a premiere I think.

He'd have to do something illegal to be impeached by the House and convicted and removed by the Senate. Broken promises usually cannot be considered a high crime or misdemeanor. Plus with a Republican House and Senate, he'd have to probably do something flagrantly illegal.

And that is the reason why I detest politicians so much because its just easy to criticise from outside it is when you get there and have access to the information the leaders had for making such decision you will then commend them that they had the right guts to make such decision and that its not always rosy only a few will make a separate decision from that. I wont be surprised if Trump didnt live up to expectation because quite a number of people are saying "he is not a politician" but I say decisions will be made by politicians that will only needs his endorsements and not inputs. But time will tell.

^ you are asking for the impossible. What can he do in 2 years that will give a large part of the population those 6 figures jobs? If he really cares to do that. And assuming the next recession doesn't stop him.

He's the one that made the promises to the rust belt voters. Since he is rebuilding the infrastructure, it better be all gilded. Also, he better get Mexico to pay for that fabulous wall that is going to be way better than the Great Wall of China ever was. It better have the latest technology to keep it secure and be bejeweled and gilded! Also, he better deliver 15% growth per year to our economy but also have absolutely zero inflation.
He said that we are going to win so much that we will be sick of winning all the time. I want to be so prosperous that I start puking up the gold leaf that I coat my ice cream sundaes with.

The fact that he had promised before the elections and that he would do after the election - are completely different things. Therefore, it is not necessary to hope that he will fulfill all the promises. It is reasonable to just hope that does not become worse

If Trump does not deliver on his promises (like building the wall along the Mexican border, deporting millions of illegal immigrants in this country, create millions of jobs for American citizens, repeal and replace Obamacare), I expect his supporters to turn on him, but apart from that, nothing can be done since he will be president for the next four years. The people can then decide to elect a different president if they choose in the 2020 Presidential election. I personally think that Trump will fulfill most of his campaign promises, such as building that wall to stop illegals from entering America, but will not be able to get Mexico to pay for it.

He better delver by 2018. Otherwise, the working class that went with him are likely to give the House and/or Senate back to the Democrats. Then it will be two years of political gridlock. He should use his two years with the Republican party controlling both branches of Congress to roll out as much as possible. Also, it better translate quickly to good paying jobs for the working class. The working class is growing very impatient and are not going to be loyal if they don't see results fast. BTW, these jobs better not be $15.00 per hour or less manufacturing jobs. They better be paying 6 figures to get the working class back to where they were at in the 80s and early 90s.

He won't do any of those. Not even close to what he promised. And when the next economic downturn hits it will be too late anyway.

There is no need to be afraid. If he honors them or not, the truth is eventually climbing through the deep well that was dug by the evil elite.
Think about it, the elite can only keep lying so much before individuals eventually realize what is going on. If trump worsens the country this is what it tells me,

-Alex Jones cannot be trusted
-Politicians can't be trusted
-System can't be trusted
- Instead of looking at their promises, look at their financial situation. Look where their money comes from , look who is behind their money, look who is control of their money, look who they work with, then you will know the truth.

We live in a system that is built of money, follow the paper trail.

People already know that. That is why they voted for obama. Then for someone who called himself a socialist like sanders. Then for trump. Problem is what to do when nothing changes. When whatever trump does doesn't improve the lives of people. And hundreds of thousands or millions of people go to the streets to protest. Is the system going to change? Or turn to fascism to stop unrest?

Whether Trump come up trump or not, it depends on his chief of staff, as a businessman, Trumps made a lot of promises during the campaign, but he don't know what situation will be lead to if he perform his promises, it could be unexpectable and destructive, after all he is a businessman not a politician.

He probably won't be re-elected if he doesn't live up to his promises unless the Democrat candidate is absolutely horrible.

Early speculation - nothing more.

But what happens if Donald doesn't honour his anti establishment rhetoric and pledges ? What if he turns out to be, when all is said and done, a billionaire bastion of the establishment ? Aren't they fielding the idea of Jamie Dimon for one of the top Treasury slots ( Shocked ) ?

Where then ? Where to turn ?

Just strikes me that you can play this card once but you can't play it twice.

What then will fill the void ? What then will become of the US ?

Or will it just be a reversion to type ?

Strikes me that democracy, or what passes for it, is hanging by a thread.
