Elwar,
That was my point. Basically you are voting for the people who stand behind and fund the president vs. the man himself. Look at Obama. He thought he could make changes his way and found out the hard way who actually controls the presidency. So much money is needed to run for office that you almost have to make deals to get there. It just sucks when you see good men trying to make a difference become hand cuffed by the system they love and believe in.

Decide how the candidates will be based on the decisions and actions they have made in the past when they weren't being paid for or the propaganda machine wasn't trying to paint a picture for you.

The fact that they've been elected before means they've always been part of a propaganda and lobbying machine. Since no decisions they've made before were ever free of this influence, basing your decisions on their past actions and rhetoric would be just as unsound as doing so based on what they do and say now, don't you think?

It doesn't matter who you vote for in the presidential selections. Diebold will be choosing for you anyway. If you want to have an impact, vote in your local governments.

The thing is, it doesn't matter who is elected as the whole thing is a sham. It is always the same and I've witnessed this for over 40 years, candidates claim they'll do this or that yet when elected, no true change ever comes and the machine simply keeps rolling forward with its agenda. People in the US are so divided by politics yet it is all a farce.

Soon, I have to go away.
What influences their vote now?

Whatever vote they believe will get them elected as president.

"People with money", you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours, isnt that what its all about.

It would be better to vote for John Doe, we all know a John Doe, he is not rich guy to pay for running as candidate, but he should be a President.

John lives in many towns and states, he knows about how corrupt the US congress is.
The USA is run by business men out for profit with little thought for the man in the street.
Arms dealers and brokers are aggrevating the war situation to become a reality with thier greed (John Doe) Knows this.

So why the FCK does not John Doe stand up and do something, to save the USA from itself.
Who is John Doe (You are thats who)

There is more to it than just that. What influences their vote now? Who are they assoicated with? Plus many more things to consider when choosing who to vote for. We all have our ways to decide ...

All of the candidates that will be running for president are out there. They ALL have a history.

Decide how the candidates will be based on the decisions and actions they have made in the past when they weren't being paid for or the propaganda machine wasn't trying to paint a picture for you.

The whole "I want to see how this candidate does to see if I will vote for him" crap is just stupid. You are a sheep. Don't vote.

Just look into the histories and voting records and actions of each candidate. Do you like what they have done? Then vote for them.
