ICO does require a lot of funds, so it is not easy to run the ICO. Although many ICO starts with low funds, they also need to be able to convince investors. So that raising and this must be maximized by offering a good concept.

the numbers seem a bit high to me. many ico start with much less money in advance and certainly have not yet these expenses, otherwise they could not start the project. yes, a few big ico may have the money and these costs in advance, but that is the least.

I have guessed that, the cost of launching Iico is very high, so it's natural that they need a lot of support from investors. and when their ico fails, it is also natural that if they disappear and deceive some people, it aims to restore their own capital. have to be more careful and plan to launch ico.

What you are talking about is a big enterprise grade ICOs but in the reality these numbers are far out of reality.
Most of the products can be kickstarted with only $1000 excluding marketing costs. In the raised funds, they will continue further. Also none of the influencers take the money which you have mentioned. Atleast in this market situation.

the only cost of an ICO is its advertisement. otherwise there is absolutely no other cost specially since 90% of the ICOs are just copying from each other and all projects being open source makes it easy for them to just create one at a snap of a finger.
Yes it's true. Most projects simply copy someone else's and use it in fraudulent schemes. In + -90% of cases, you will stumble upon a fast-dying project and lose money.

Where did you get all those information? Care to share some links?

The payment to youtube shillers disguised as "reviews" is quite a lot. ICOs should lessen the budget for that.

I can't imagine if I personally made a project and conducted an ICO so that my project was successful I had to spend a lot of money on a big project. This in my opinion is very difficult. But it is true that the funds to be made for a project are of course very large.

Crypto YouTube Influencers-Cost: $5K — $40K per video.

Perhaps you are talking about the bull run period. I don't think there are projects on the market which pay that much for a single video nowadays while the market crashes like crazy. And I doubt that concept could cost that much as you said.

Where did you get this information at all?

Your numbers are far from any reality.

Every idea have it own numbers.
Concept could cost you from zero to millions, it's the same with prototype. MVP is costly stuff in almost all cases.
Legal... not every idea needs heavy legal costs, most and under few Ks.
And so on and so on.

The only correct number is about the content number - a good author will cost you $10+/100 words.

Most people unaware of the actual costs of launching an ICO. Beyond attracting a sufficient number of contributors to meet a fundraising goal, a significant budget needs to be set aside to ensure that an ICO is safe, compliant and built on a solid technological foundation that provides real value to a community of contributors.

Let's start.

1-Concept

The estimated budget for conceptual development: 15-75k depending on the complexity of the technology and token economics underlying the product. If it’s a simple project and you have an experienced in-house team, you can potentially develop the concept in 2 weeks, which means cutting costs to less than 10k (depending on employee salaries).

2-ICO Technology Development

Estimated budget: 25-50k depending on the complexity and scope of the problem you are addressing and the number of industry professionals you require to tackle the problem.

ICO Development – Legal side

Estimated budget: An estimated 100-200k to engage a competent advisory/consultant in legal and compliance, and also depending on where the lawyer is based and their hourly rates. Some reputable law firms are charging up to 400k for this component, but you do not necessarily have to part with this amount of money as long as you are reasonably assured that your legal counsel is keeping up with ICO best-practices and regulations.

ICO Development – Token Sale System Development

Estimated budget: 65-100k to launch off existing platforms that could provide you with a white-labelled platform to launch the sale. Developing the platform in-house would cost more than this and require a longer development timeline.

ICO Development – Cybersecurity Management

Estimated budget: Any budget allocated to preventing yourself from getting hacked is money well spent. The bare necessities of cybersecurity measures require around 40k, although it’s never a waste to spend on additional efforts at protecting your infrastructure.
