I remember looking at the comet Hale–Bopp back in the 1997 ... It was an experience I'll never forget.
I also remember when our whole family looked at this comet. The wife told the children, remember this comet, children. Just recently they remembered this comet, but the children do not remember it. My wife and I regret not filming this comet and our children with a video camera then.

Still, you will have to have a very good telescope to detect that alien shuttle-craft coming out of the comet, and landing on the earth.

Cool
I'm imagining a disheveled person looking through their telescope and seeing an actual UFO haha, I don't think anyone would believe him

It's a pity that I don't even have binoculars to try to see this comet even a little.

Depending on where you’re located, you may not even need them.

I was looking at it last night. Easy to see with binoculars, but also with the naked eye if you are away from light pollution.

I remember looking at the comet Hale–Bopp back in the 1997

I also got to see Hale-Bopp, that was cool.  I took a trip to the top of a local mountain to get a better look at it.  But it wasn't quite as brilliant as I remember Halley's comet, which I got to see in 1986 (yeah, I'm an old fart.)  I was fairly young when Halley's was visible, but remember being so impressed by it.  It was one of the factors that instilled an enthusiasm for astronomy.

I was looking for NEOWISE in the morning skies a couple of weeks ago, but it eluded me.  I got to see it last night for the first time, the skies were finally clear enough in my location.  I might take a trip to the mountain top this weekend to take a photo.

The history of comet visits is also quite fascinating.  Many times they are met with significant social events.  No need to list all the societal peculiarities of this year, as they've been well displayed and discussed.  One of the weirdest things I remember hearing about happened during Hale-Bopp's visit; a group of religious zealots committed mass suicide to hitch a ride on Jesus' space ship, which was hidden in the comet's tail.

Yesterday I was planning to see it with my own eyes(I live near a big river, and I can go to the shore one hour after the sunset to get rid of those city lights), but it was all cloudy and stuff, so, I had no chance. I'm not giving up, though! If the sky is clear - I'm there. Smiley

Regarding the pictures on the Internet, I like this video

because it reminds me of seeing Hale-Bopp back in the day.

Lucky is the person who have seen the Neowise closely. It already made a noise in social media in our country.

The comments are telling that there's an old belief that if that shows, there's something that's about to happen. Knowing that a bad thing actually happened to the world with this pandemic.
