Today Betcoin announced the addition of a new Betsoft Game (The Irish themed one) that has 3 independent progressive jackpots per denomination.

They deleted this post from their thread at the same time.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.16639942

The game was actually first launched  on a bunch of sites 2 days before the Jasonort resolution.

Goodbye, Z.
Also i have seen most of the Online gambling casino websites use their service
Betcoin.AG does.

It's an old news.
And it's an old thread. Dating as far back as june.
win win win brought the thread back up after several months of inactivity with their bump.

Has betsoft responded?
Obviously, no.

It's also shocking that this isn't a popular topic in this forum, So many scam claims, But finally there is one that holds true and it has 3 replies.
This has been a topic for long and was discussed alot.

wait casino software rigged? I Thought they already made a fix edge that user will lose like % every run but its fair for player or something?

Sorry not really clear about that :x

Not all casino software is rigged, but there is a lot of rigged stuff out there. The only way you're ever going to know for sure is if you only play on provably fair casinos and verify your bets.

Things RNG certifications are absolute jokes, some of them are done by companies that give actively harmful information. I saw one recommending casinos use mersenne twister for random number generation, which is pretty high in the list of stupidest things a casino could possible do. And no certification is going to protect you from a malicious casino.

Do yourself a favor, and if it's not provably fair -- don't play there. The only exception to this rule I would make, is p2p games have legitimate technical reasons to not be provably fair.

2. A player in the past week has been stiffed of a million coin progressive jackpot win at a bitcoin site called Betcoin.ag (worth about $340,000 at the moment). He hit 5 yachts in a line on The Glam Life slot and although the excuse has changed a few times, they are now saying that the win doesn't count because he hit it during a free spins round (triggered in game, not a bonus). This is not documented in the game or its paytable anywhere and neither the casino or Betsoft has shown proof to support this claim.
This is just outright theft imo, I've found an article about this and it goes further than this.
They've offered him a settlement to keep his mouth shut about the whole thing, dunno if that's accurate.

Betsoft turns rogue now, I won't bet any slots there, slot is a silly game makes us broke soon.

It was actually worth over $600k USD

It is a big fruad case, the players should sue betcoin and betsoft. BTW, betsoft is looking so good, but it is scam, very sad.

Has betsoft responded?

I am shocked to hear about this as I have played many of their games quite regularly. To hear that they aren't legitimate is spine tingling horrifying.
I will look into this more, But I doubt I will ever play with a betsoft game again and question the legitimacy of casinos that offer them.

It's also shocking that this isn't a popular topic in this forum, So many scam claims, But finally there is one that holds true and it has 3 replies.

I think this thread would get more attention in the "scam accusations" subforum, so maybe OP should move his thread there to get more attention. This is definitely a major issue, as most bitcoin casinos use betsoft software.

I think also that this fits better on the Scam Accusations board but I agree also with OP to put it here to make gamblers aware of such slots. It is truly a bad thing for me as I loved the Mr.Vegas slot and was and is my favorite. I will quit playing these games of Betsoft for the moment until everything is cleared.

in BTC we trust
This one is an old one and although betfsoft is providing its games to many bitcoin operators, its still not the most played ( I think #5 or #6 in the list )

Is there not some sort of legal thing where you must prove your casino game is fair before releasing it ? Or is this just void due to bitcoin ?

No refunds will ever be given. I can't even count how many of these casino software packages have had RNG irregularities over the years, some very obvious(BLR technologies craps rigging) and some not so obvious (English Harbor video poker randomness)...

no refunds ever given.

Betsoft should have been avoided many yrs ago after that absolute poker Keno "oddity"...shows you the strength of "RNG testing" LOL...but casino affiliates continued to promote this software because the $$ was so good  Roll Eyes I am a big fan of the one strike and your done way of things, I don't play at software that has ever shown evidence of non-randomness(accidental or not)

It is a shame in the age of provably fair casinos(which have their own problems btw) we still have these type of questions about randomness. Betsoft itself has a fantastic selection of slots and table games and I doubt it would be that hard to implement a "provably fairness" system ala how Softswiss does it to remove any all doubt...

A group of people have tested and found that Betsoft are running rigged games. Betsoft has been busted in the past for rigging their keno games. But this time its a lot worse. - We are asking everyone to contact their casinos and seek a refund for any losses experience by Betsoft and their games.

More information http://www.gpwa.org/forum/casinolistings-issues-betsoft-gaming-warning-227986.html

This has been a long time coming but I believe that we have reached the point where it is fair to issue a warning against playing (or promoting) any games published by Betsoft Gaming.

Warning: avoid all Betsoft slots and casino games

If you want the TLDR version with our reasoning:

1. Documented discrepancies in their progressive jackpot payouts between the same game on different casinos, and even the same game with different coin sizes. Basically some jackpots appear to be impossible to win as they have not been won while we have monitored them over a period of 9 months, even though they may be won several times a week at another casino.
3. The revoking of their Alderney license in 2014.
4. Their RNG audit is worthless because it was only tested in isolation and has a specific disclaimer that says that they did not test the results from any games that actually use the RNG. These "bugs" could be occurring even wth a statistically valid RNG, either through malicious or incompetent programming in the game logic that uses the RNG.
5. Back in 2010 they were busted running a non-random keno game at Absolute Poker that gave players no chance of winning at all.

It is clear that at the very least, Betsoft's development, testing, and QA processes are inadequate. Their Curacao license is worthless because the regulator is not ensuring that any standards of fairness and professionalism are being met.

We recommend that players avoid all Betsoft slots, and that all casinos running these games should withdraw them immediately until such time as Betsoft can demonstrate that they have fixed the issues and processes that have lead to this situation, and of course until such time as the Betcoin player is paid the jackpot that he won.
