Agree, I was expecting $10K level in the next year but since institutional investors have joined the game and started playing by pouring their capital, the things are moving rapidly. However, we must understand the fact that they can exit any time and it will create a panic selling wave in the market empowering correction so $50K mark is still far away from this point. One positive thing is that now the outsiders won't dare to call it impossible.

Could be! But we as we know, Bitcoin's movement is so much unpredictable that can be changed anytime. But considering it probably by next year, this might happen. Bitcoin supporters need to continuously share it with people and give some awareness of its value and how it can benefit a country in the future. I think that the price of bitcoin can reach that price because 2018 is coming and that year has a lot of time for the investor and traders to catch up so if you really doubting about the possible profit that you can get in bitcoin if you buy right now then just think on the difference from $50,000 and $10,000 which is the price right now.
It's very easy to consider that people are willing to invest a single Bitcoin for a $50,000 value and although it is the most valued intangible Gem of the internet but the volatility is very High. In my local country Philippines it will worth 2.5 Million pesos and I could even buy a house and lot with it so investing that huge amount for a single Bitcoin isn't my priority.
It's definitely will reach $50,000 but not this decade I suppose and that figure of amount is really a very huge amount to let go.

I am one of the believers that bitcoin will reach %50,000 dollars soon, since too many people are getting involved on bitcoin everyday. And for me it is still not the limit, but I'm still thinking, does bitcoin price will soon become a not volatile currency? And if it soon happens I wish bitcoin price is higher than $50,000!
I think and say that it's possible to get or reach the bitcoin at $ 50,000 because many of them are joining to earn a great deal of bitcoin to reach $ 50,000. It is not possible for a person who wants to get a job and a job. The amount of bitcoin is so great that it is for a small worker who has a small salary. It is a good idea to look at such value as it really is and it is good to earn such benefits for family and family expenses to help with expenses.
Speculation is a major thing in Bitcoin. This is what the majority keep talking about . There is no doubt that it will cross 50k , infact after a few years 50k would also sound less . Coming to its stability , I don't think that the prices of Bitcoin can be fixed . It just can't have the same price or roughly same price.
Bitcoin to 50,000 US dollars, I think it is possible. But not too fast. Bitcoin still has a long way to go. Of course, bitcoin's technology is powerful. The potential of bitcoin is huge. I am optimistic about the future of bitcoin. Bitcoin will surprise me.

Correction is inevitable espaecially with the pace btc took to reach this stage. But if anything, it would be a temporary delay and a good time to get in. After every correction comes a pump and we'll likely see bitcoin go on another bullish run. At this rate, 50k is really possible probably in 2 years

The chances are 3% because the only exchange right now is 9621$ but it may take years to reach that value.
Everything could happen in cryptocurrency especially Bitcoin, i believe BTC will reach $50,000 but always carefully with my investment. Bitcoin has been at USD 9689 today on Bitfinex, but the chart has no correction (in 4h frame), so I think Bitcoin price will be down for a while. I could be wrong but who knows? Just carefully.

If we see the progress of bitcoin price, yes. I think its possible but not for soon. There are many big investors whos attacted toward bitcoin. So there is probablity that bitcoin will be only used by rich people. I just afraid about the transactions fee, is it will be increase too

Personally I don't think it is impossible for bitcoin to reach such price but the only question is when. We know that bitcoin has a big potential in the future and it is now being accepted by some government and are trying to have some regulations for it. Since the coins price is depending on demand then we just need to hope that more and more people will embrace bitcoin for the price to reach $50,000 easily.

Vouch for this! BTC will reach 50k thats as certain as christmas is around the corner. Only thing that admittedly scares me a bit is this continuous forking. This definitely doesnt shed a good light on crypto. Not to speak from the ICO craze and the newly airdrop mania.

$50,000 or $500,000 I'm into any of them the price is getting higher day by day and today we had seen a new ATH. Can't wait to see bitcoin hitting first $50,000 then $100,000 and so on. Even with these hard forks that everyone is mostly annoyed bitcoin is showing it's strength and still remaining. With those ambitious hard forks thinking they will taking over bitcoin, well living in their dreams but they are helping bitcoin to pump.

I'm considering it all of my life. The price went to $9k now and before I'm very optimistic with higher prices. I don't care if that will be higher than $50,000 as long as I have some bitcoins on held by that time then that will be a good thing for me.

Bitcoin will grow to $50,000 but it could be a few years before it reaches that level. The only way bitcoin could get that high this year is if there is more adoption by the general public. There still seems to be a large number of people that are unfamiliar with bitcoin and the benefits that it offers.

BUT I don’t emotionally invest. A correction/crash will happen. Look at the charts and it’s past movement. Institutional (Wall Street) money will only enter on a large dip, and bitcoin needs that to mature into the next phase. As more institutional money comes in, TA analysis will start playing a greater role, because those guys trade on chart movements in herds. Which creates more predictable price movement patterns.
Obviously no one can say for sure, but imo there is a high probability that it’ll have a steep correction soon.
I’d buy then. Then have patience to climb to $10k, $15k+ IF some scalability issues are fixed in the meantime.

I always have to laugh when someone says we are not in a bubble. That is hilarious to me because if you look at the chart (as you say) it is quite clear we are not only in a bubble, but it is a MASSIVE bubble. The price rose from $1,000 to $9,000 this year for crying out loud!
For me I think bitcoin can really go this high because of many positive things that happen in bitcoin as the days passes by bitcoin appreciated so much and it will continue to grow because of the increasing demand and population of bitcoin users. I agree, there will be much more time to reach this goal. 3-5 years is more real as we can expect. There wasn't any big correction from the 2017. It will be for sure in the future and it can take some time to recover the price. It could be in one month, could be in one year. Who knows.
For me the highest price of the bitcoin is 50k dollars and I think it is possible to happen but it takes few yeats to happen that price because that is very high price. i see so much speculation but lets be real!!!!!!! No one knows......how could we this market is new in the sense of the term and really no one can accurately say where it will stop. I just play the profits daily and hope it keeps going up...... if not ill be alright, i made my money and played it safely as i see it

I think this is possible. Look at the bitcoin price grows of the last years. I seems everything is possible in the crypto world. Waiting for the 50k bitcoin price. I support it.
It might, I would be very happy if it did, but I think there is a long time before it happens. I think we will be correcting at this price point and then we will climb back up. Rinse and repeat.

Price increased more than 9x this year alone and was around $800 one year ago.
From now to 50k would be less impressive than 1 year ago to now.

A $50,000 is not easy to reach since bitcoin might have a problem that can lower the price and pump it again after recovering, but that is not the real problem since it can reach $50,000 even with some problem, the real problem is if every month a after recovering its price a problem will occur then bitcoin can only play round and round like it is having a stable value but bitcoin is so inconsistent. It will go up and down but will reach a $50,000 for over 2 to 4 years base on how the price moves right now.

Why? because it's going to reach 10k? that's just too simple-minded. It is far too easy to throw a number without some actual facts and a bit of reasoning, anyone, even newbies, can play that game. You need to consider many factors that will play in the future, especially after the 10k mark. Adoption, legalization, regulations, etc, could potentially have a huge impact even before the 20k mark and will make 50k look very far away. I'm not saying it's not going to reach that number, but I think is too early to start discussing about btc reaching 50k, though I understand that everyone (myself included) is excited about the surge in the price. Bitcoin will reach$ 50,000 before 2030, maybe sooner, given the current growth rates. IMHO

I'm not even looking forward that far when I think about my future and my investments. I expect $10k to be reached this year, but at some point we'll have a crash and that crash will be huge thanks to all those newbies pouring in with big money. Just wait and you'll see

I'll still wait and see if this is all just pumps which set us into bubble conditions or if it is a legitimate rise in price which will actually be stable for a while once the market finds out where it wants to stop. We got pretty close to going under $2k after there was the correction from $4k, so I'm not looking at this with a significant amount of confidence.It'll probably hit $50k one day but for right now I will be skeptical about it. There's no telling what the future will hold, and that's a mix of good and bad, unfortunately.
Since I witnessed the price growth of Bitcoin reaching the $1,000 mark again in the very first month of this year I started to believe that's the great time to invest my money with it, Bitcoin never wronged my decision and it so near now to $10,000 mark, I hope that it will reach 6 digits soon and my prediction that it will happen in year 2020.

So you have to wait for long time to find the expected value mentioned in op. We are finding many adoption like in mining, trading and security firewall with the blockchain technology. These are still supporting every time by the person or corporate adopting it.

This is crazy to watch, everytime I check the price it's jumped a few hundred, I was hoping for $10,000 by the end of the year but it looks like we will get there before this month is out, $50,000 really isn't that far off.
