I get a lot of good news from r/bitcoin. No forum or subreddit is going to be 100% troll-free, just the nature of the internet.

Likewise here, I visit and post in there daily and do get quite a lot of good stuff from browsing it.

Yes. There is always "good news" to be found in the /r/bitcoin reddit. It's one giant cheerleading forum.

I think maybe the constructive criticism is there too, but you'll need to search the downvoted posts on the 100th page. lol

Well the state of crypto journalism is sad indeed. No surprise there. We have shitty news sources that are started only to promote certain coins (like coinbrief) and each individual coin subreddits are just echo chambers like the gentleman above mentioned. No surprise there.

If you aren't using vanilla reddit, after a while you learn the quality posters and the ones that just troll. I have a userscript that will filter this for me but I understand how some may not be so fortunate.

Will we be banned for constructive criticism or is this going to just be an echo chamber for everyone to talk about how insanely awesome BTC is and why they will be the new financial overlords?

Hey,

If any of you use Reddit I want to invite you over to my subreddit Game of Money.  The moderators of /r/bitcoin don't believe in deleting and banning clear disruptive trolls, but I do.  I'm sick of going to /r/bitcoin and wanting to have a positive discussion about crypto, money, altcoins, and bitcoins and facing a legion of PR firms who only want to disrupt conversation.  Embarrassed

It's gotten to the point where discussing anything is difficult.

So I think we can do better, especially for people who are already sold on the viability and future of crypto as an exchange of value:

http://www.reddit.com/r/gameofmoney

It's a subreddit that's supposed to have a slant towards game theory and behaviorial finance and I believe the adoption of cryptocurrency is a great study into these things, and as a side product, one that can make the early players extraordinarily rich.   Cheesy

So if you are passionate about making money, and don't care how, give us a visit.
