Well if the pictures where printed on some paper, then maybe You could eat those and somehow survive. But You would probably die anyway from a stomach ache or from intoxication.

It's impossible to survive the hunger even if you have hundreds of mouth watering images of different specialty dishes around you. And you maybe more likely to develop stomach ulcer just by looking at those pictures.

Even if it satisfy you appetite "though that isn't reasonable since it should do the opposite to get you to eat" your stomach is still empty and you aren't getting nutrients.

I say no, as I think it would cause saliva to for in anticipation of food, and stimulus of brain which would just make you hungrier as it just would use more calories

besides hunger is a state of mind and with enough will power you could probably alter it
but your body needs food because it's the fuel that runs it, you can't get proteins from pictures so you would die

Back on topic: watching pictures of food or imagining it might help you digest some junk you'd be forced to eat to survive, like roots.
