Yes, that's true, but I'm not sure what triggers it with a new post on the feed. For that matter, I'm not sure how often the feed updates.

I believe IFTTT recipes trigger every 15 minutes.

Just created a test account for it.

@btc_prices

Not sure how long it will be until it actually starts tweeting.

Very cool!

May I ask what data source you are using for the rss feed? Did you make the feed yourself? Based on which rates?

And how often will the price be updated?

It is not my RSS feed, it's the RSS feed located at http://p.b.gw.gd/pricefeed/bitcoin_price_feed.php?format=short

I don't know what rate it uses, and the price doesn't appear to update at regular intervals, but albeit it does seem fairly frequent.

For those of you who use IFTTT, you'll know what this is. If not, check out their "about" page.

And for those of you too lazy to click on through:

What is IFTTT?

IFTTT is a service that lets you create powerful connections with one simple statement:

If this, then that. We call 'this' the Trigger, and 'that' the Action. Together, it is a Recipe.

IFTTT is pronounced like “gift” without the “g.”

Anyways, I created this recipe to tweet the Bitcoin price from an RSS feed.
