ILCOIN Blockchain Project | The ILCOIN Development Team
The ILCOIN Blockchain Project is a revolutionary on-chain data storage system; developed not only to provide a strong foundation for the ILCOIN cryptocurrency, but also to open up a wide range of possibilities for exceptionally safe yet transparent data storage, establishment of various smart contract systems and the launch of innovative decentralized applications running on our blockchain systems. We believe in the true freedom of cryptocurrency usage and true evolution of blockchain technology. Our mission is to develop a revolutionary Decentralized Hybrid Blockchain System while having ILCOIN as a stable, safe and widely accepted payment method behind it.

Command Chain Protocol (C2P)
Command Chain Protocol (C2P) is a blockchain security protocol which may be integrated into different types of blockchains to create new consensus algorithms. For example, a Proof-of-Work (PoW) blockchain which integrates C2P would then become a PoW/C2P consensus algorithm. C2P was created by the ILCOIN Development Team. It was released in 2019. The main function of C2P is to prevent a 51% attack of the blockchain (both internal and external), rollback attacks, fork attacks and design flaw attacks.

RIFT Protocol
The RIFT Protocol has put an end to the scalability issue of blockchain systems. The protocol utilizes side-chain technology in order to divide the data being gathered in a forged block into numerous other blocks called “miniblocks”. Each miniblock may hold a total of 25 MB of data. Each block may contain a theoretically infinite number of miniblocks. At the moment, the RIFT Protocol is setup to handle 200 miniblocks per forged block; resulting in a block currently capable of 5 GB of storage (
5 GB block #310280). They are referenced to the forged block via a series of hashes which are unique to each miniblock. They are also referenced to the superseding and preceding miniblocks.
