Yet another hijacked device for cryptocurrency mining case which make cryptocurrency looks bad, again.

But i'm surprised those cafe owner/manager/technician didn't find out it since user would experience slow performance, unless their software able to slow-down/stop mining activity when user run heavy software/games.
Chinese government should examine their companies which specialize on digital content and maintenance user's product.

You know I think the government is Loosing the smartest asset there are people who can be used to make the country stronger and smarter these people r finding ways to hide from the government and make their own money .
You know government should allow the cryptocurrency trading in a systematic manner in whatever they please I don't support the full ban of cryptocurrency in China it's dividing people and the government where as they should work together so that the economy can grow stronger.
Also cyber cafes or anything people will find ways not agreeable by the government if they are not allowed to do something that is what supports the family.
Bitcoins will one day be used internationally and at that time governments will realise its importance.

Exactly!

Governments fail to realize the fact that its citizens are its most useful and beneficial resources. If the government fails to unite its citizens by giving them a common platform to interact with each other. But it'd be better for the governments to realize this fact that banning the bitcoin is senseless, especially when the citizens of your nations resent it. In order to bind them into one common united bond , you need to agree on certain common terms with the people of your nation.

P.S.: the decision of China government is not right!

Don't let others control your BTC -> self custody
I always say that we should reward their ingenuity. Instead of prosecuting they should hire them to develop anti-virus software and think of ways to protect some big server rooms from falling prey to crypto mining malware. The governments rarely have the brains and the guts to put criminals to good use. They prefer blindly to follow the law.
The Chinese are once again proving how smart they are.

It is very funny that employee of maintenance company put the mining program in the computers  and owner and maintenance companies are not able to figure out by themselves what is causing intensive heating or bad performance.

look like they need to get training in computer maintenance from chinese police that is able to successfully find that hidden program.

PRIVATE FEDERATED BLOCKCHAIN
In China, a group of pirates would have collaborated with computer maintenance companies to use cyber-café computers to undermine crypto-currencies.
The police reportedly arrested 16 individuals suspected of participating in a crypto-currencies mining operation. These would have managed to get the equivalent of 5 million yuan (650 000 euros) by diverting last year more than 100 000 computers placed in internet cafes of 30 Chinese cities.

They would have developed a malware allowing them to undermine the crypto-monnaie Siacoin (SIA) on infected devices. They would then have asked several computer maintenance companies to take advantage of routine checks to inject this software into cafes computers.
The investigation is still underway: malware would still be present at internet cafes in more than 30 Chinese cities, and more than 100 computer maintenance companies in the country would be involved.
this news is really important for cryptocurrency users to be careful, is it related to the decrease of all crypto coin prices? the current price of all crypto coins dropped dramatically
