PrintMule: I'm currently also working on a game myself... unfortunately being able to draw doesn't make it simple to build a game.

How grand is your game idea? Maybe we should team up? What platform are you interested in? Desktop or mobile?

I can do flash, android, html5,  maybe iOS and somewhat slow windows target.

EDIT: easiest thing artist could code probably would be an adventure game like Broken sword or Full throttle. It's also the most profitable idea for artists.

Full Throttle, HAH! Good times, good times. :D Bet you can't get Mark Hamill to do any voice-acting for "The Adventures of David Smit" though.

Thanks! ^^

Because of extreme price volatility I've changed my BTC/LTC rates to a more variable option.
Prices are depending on what is needed.

Send me a message if you are interested!

If either of you need a sprite artist at any point i'd be happy to help  Smiley I can produce a variety of styles; the only reason I haven't attempted a game myself is through lack of coding experience.

I made like 7 prototypes so far. But the one I've got going now is modular. So I can create the basic gameplay and setting and later add gameplay/art/animation/sounds etc how I feel like it. Doing both the programming and art is tricky, but also a lot of fun.
I might want to team up at some point, but for now I want to see how far I can push this myself! Thanks for the offer though! ^^

The target platform at this point is uncertain. I was developing for mobile, but now it seems to go towards the console direction. Well see! Smiley

Console is the ultimate option for an artist, your ambitions are good. Depending on the choice you will have to sign up (sometimes purchase) for a dev kit, follow some strict guidelines, but the exposure is well worth it. Or you can find a local publisher to supply that to you for a likely ~50-60% profit, but it would be ok for a first game I guess.

Just incredible!  I absolutely love the one with the man who has a robot in his backpack, how they are each suggesting a different direction is really playful and very pleasing.  I also love his sandwich/toast hanging from his belt.  Again, fantastic work.  If I ever have the need, I'll be sure to come to you.

David,

I'm starting a artist community online, where artists can upload their work, customers can then browse their work and immediately see what it would look like if printed on a t-shirt, sweat shirt, hoody, or even a pair of converse all stars shoes. You as the designer could be featured on our site, and generate lots of sales. We would pay you a royalty for your work. In addition, I am also looking for someone to help design some work that I currently have in mind.

If you're interested in some work, feel free to PM me for further details.

Hey everybody!

I'm a freelance Concept artist, Illustrator & Art director, based in Berlin. I just started to open up my services for BTC & LTC!

I have over 8 years of industry experience in Video-games, Advertising and movies.
Previous clients include: Crytek, Guerrilla Games, Adidas, G-Star, 180, BBDO and others.

I make illustrations & visual designs in a broad range of styles and can help in the creative process of defining a style, mood or specifics for a illustration. Or to make that one image that you always wanted on your wall.

My BTC/LTC rate depends on the conversion rate of the day. Message me for details!

Here are some samples of my work. For more visit: http://www.DavidSmit.com or send me a message!

Cheers!
