I'm quite happy to close it if this is what people think.

The idea was to try to get some decent threads by non English speakers into the political board. It was also started because so many people complained about non-English speakers posting on the English boards. I've got a lot of projects on the go at the moment, and I'm quite happy to stop promoting this project.

I'll close this thread, as it seems to be creating the wrong impression. I don't make anything out of Fit to Talk - it was created to help the forum, and to help international cooperation amongst those who are opposed to globalisation.

Thanks for keeping the forum so in touch with what activity you are engaging in on a daily basis. It truly enriches the beginner and meta sections which could probably not carry on without knowing what you’re doing each day. However, bribing users here with merits to promote your project is a bit sketchy...

The failed fiat currency in Venezuela has given rise to the use of crypto-currencies for some purchases and trading there. I would like to know more about this! I want to start the new year with some threads about the use of Dash, Bitcoin or even El Petro in Venezuela, and I would like the comments to come from people who are living there and using crypto. This can be either as a miner, or for daily purchases.

I'm going to guarantee a minimum of 10 merits for any Venezuelan who submits a thread starter post through the Fit to Talk English project. The post can be in English or Spanish, and you can use Google to translate from the Spanish - note you shouldn't use Google translate to post here in the Bitcoin Talk forum. We will help you to sanitise the post for submission on a suitable board in the forum. If your post is of suitable quality, then I will guarantee a minimum for 10 merits for your opening post in the thread. The OP will be the Anglicised version, and you will receive full credit for starting the thread.

I apologise for having had to close registrations, but I had so many Russian and other spammers trying to join, that cleaning the member list was taking up too much time.

Hello Jet Cash, personally I think you are a great guy and an excellent merit source. But this time I do not agree with you because this looks like you are using merits to promote your own project. As my aunt used to say 'Don't do good things that look as bad things'. Merits should be given for good quality post, they shouldn't be used to attract people to your project. Maybe I'm wrong but just want to share my point of view.

And by the way, I'm not the right one to say this because my English sucks hard, but sanitize and apologize goes with z  Wink if you have a project to teach proper English you must be an example.

If you want to get more people involved in the fit to talk project I would recommend you to promote it more in the Spanish section and to spend some dollars in a facebook or google campaign. I wish you good luck with the project.

Also really interested in this. I got sort of hooked into Venezuela's adoption on cryptocurrencies ever since I read the A.M.A.(ask me anything) on Reddit. If anyone's curious, here's the Reddit posts I'm referring to:

I would also like to hear some stories about people using crypto every day, have you also posted this in the Spanish section?
I would like to read about it also. Real world applications for cryptos are very interesting to me.
I know some ways to spend crypto in real world, but it depends heavly on country to country basis. I mean every country have different/great/less real world crypto adoption.

I referenced this post earlier this morning, along with a brief explanaition of your objectives, continuing on the thread that @seoincorporation (v 1.1) started back in May 2018 on the subject of Fit to Talk. See: re:Fit to Talk, el proyecto libre para aprender inglés. The board is not very active lately, so the thread should show for some time without sinking back.

I need someone to translate the post. I have a Venezuelan friend, and I'll try to get her to translate the post.

Failing that, if you are a Spanish speaker, then you are welcome to start a thread, and link to this one.
