Yes, he is in profit for sure. Some people have dogs with the idea of selling them later from the very beginning, that is not a big deal...

Man, your dogs? ... this man is crazy. I hope that you at least gave them to some responsible family, but selling dogs that have been part of your family for years is overkill. You should have sold the car only.
Well, at least you are up since you bought at 350.

this is most probably a troll attempt or it is even possible that OP had some sell orders that needed filling so tried to hype up to fill his short
apart from that you need to really be a crazy person to go all in, in any investment. and bitcoin as an investment just adds an extra amount of risk to the equation that makes it a high risk investment.

Its a troll attempt but it sounds it could be legit as well lol.

Theres people who are desperate enough out there to sell everything to get hash power cause they think its a lottery chase.

i doubt that it was a really great idea though it is your decision on what to do with your money and no one should tell you what to do

in my opinion now you have to just wait and see if the price of the bitcoin will rise significantly in the future or if it was just a bad decision

You could have taken this decision when the price was low. You might have got a large number of bitcoins than what you have got now. Also you could have got a good profit as the halving is expected within months.

How could the know when the price was 'low' Bitcoin is never a certain. If you go all in well.. you go all in. That's all to it really. And If we are dealing with a non-troll, we just have to wait and see right?

If the he goes all in now then he wait for 10-20 years from now then i think he will profit a lot,but i think its only a troll.

It can be good but it can also be very risky. And that is bad. The bad thing will be if you lose a lot of money, that will be bad.
But I think that you also can make some profit with it, if you have some patience and not to be greedy.

but if you go all in once and are wrong you r finished. no new try again or play again.
risk is bad for reward. risk is life. what to do now with broke bank account and no dog? Cool

another all in story!!
i sometimes wonder if there really is someone stupid enough to sell everything he owns, even takes loans to invest in a risky think like bitcoin.
the return can be good (like OP if a true story) but also there is a big possibility of loss and the more you have the more loss and stress you have to endure.

Yes people do it all the time, some make a fortune and some loose it all. Wall st is full of people like this.

and that is why we saw a a lot of them go broke and go into depression.
and also lets not forget the 29 wall street crash that let to the famous jumpers.

yes no forget that.
big money won and lost every day. I wonder how many people kill themselves from losing on gambling.

But unlike Wall Street, here with the bitcoin you can make definite profits by investing, but the only requirement is waiting for some time with some passion. I do not see any harm in investing into bitcoin with "all in".

90% of the people that create these threads are just trolling. If he really sold his dogs and car and bought Bitcoin at $350, then he did very well. Everything below $400 is a good moment to enter the market if you are long term minded.

why is it so strange to sell a dog? the topic is full of people saying it is BS because he sold his doge!! its not like he sold his pink fluffy puppies Cheesy

i don't have any personal experience in this matter but don't you have to buy guard dogs? like those big ass german shepherd dogs they use for protecting their property?

most people in the west have dogs for pets so selling on is like selling you little brother. It will never happen.
work dogs are different but they are way out numbered by the dogs people keep as pets.
Around the block from me now there is a restaurant where they serve dog.
It all comes down to where you are from is why some people are crazy about dogs.

I know the op is a troll, just wanted to say that anyone who sells their pets for crypto is missing some brain cells.

The sad thing is, I don't think a lot of people in this thread realize he is trolling, and some don't even see the problem with his behavior. This disconnect with reality is ultimately the problem with Bitcoin and the Bitcoin community. The behavior projected by OP is not healthy by any means, yet a lot of people here don't realize that, and even project similar behaviors. It's one of the major factors that contributes to Bitcoin's current piss poor reputation.

Forget bitcoin, this problem relates to everyone in the world. For example I was just reading how Gawker may have to pay up to half a billion dollars to Hulk Hogan for releasing a sex tape, If courts are ordering half a billion judgements for a stupid sex tape, and people are "selling" their dogs for crypto, its almost like im wittiness the world fall apart in front of my very own eyes yet no one around me is noticing.
Its sad and disgusting.

It's true that there are people like this all throughout the world, but the Bitcoin community is very saturated with people who have a severe lack of judgement. You might know a couple of people like that in the real world- but it's more than just a couple in the community. It's all the people who jumped on caught up in the price fluctuations looking for a quick road to riches.

And in regards to the sex tape, the payment was legitimate. Gawker was participating in some very scummy business practices, and refused prior orders to take down the video. They deserve to pay the settlement, they are a very douchey company.

Maybe they are in the wrong, but who in this world needs 115M let alone half a billion. What im saying is this world is fucked. That money can go to feeding starving homeless people for years, but instead it will be given to a rich guy who will just buy more homes and cars with the money.
That is very risky. Because you never know what will happen in the future with the value and that is the problem.
There is also a chance that the value will be going down and than you will lose your money and that is very bad. It is better to see Bitcoin as a bonus.

If he did actually bought them he made some nice profit. Roll Eyes  But it's clearly a troll who would sell their animal like that

Probably.. those properties are too precious to just be sold and invest it all to bitcoin...those high quality breed of dogs, I think I can't just let go of it..I will just work my ass out and invest my earnings than selling my pets.. Cheesy

Yeah well said, those are really precious. He could have earned through some other sort for his earning rather than selling and investing.

Yes this is weird! How can you sell animal that you love?

But this is metaphor i believe he tried to say he sold everything he has to buy BTCs.

This is no love for BTC this is pure greed, and this is evil if you asking me.

This is really all about greed,If you sell animals just to gain bitcoin and saying "im all in".
The car would be acceptable but the animal that you take care of is out of the question.

I also don't have understanding for things like this. Someone who is ready to sell his family for anything, especially for money is man without any dignity and morality.
What even if OP get rich and earn millions, can he live happily after he done this? Can he sleep at night?
3000 $ for 3 month's funny, is that the price of love?
I think OP doesn't know what are real values in life!
perhaps for some people dog are family but if you ask can he live happily after this one?
if he is me, i would happy if my project goals and have a lot of money with money i can traveled around the word and of course make me happy so i never feel alone. money is everything for me!

if this is a true story OP has made nearly $3000 in approximately 3 months starting from Dec 2015 till now. i say that is a pretty good profit for a short time!

Second that, he bought around 350, now is above 400, so this is 15% return. Congratulations.

that it is very risky, personally, i wouldn't ever sell my dogs, maybe car but not dogs for sure, also that is very very risky thing because bitcoin is very unstable, this means yes, you can win extra money, but did you thought about what would happen if price would fall down?

Not sure if this troll or real. But selling your belongings to buy bitcoins - unless you are in a pinch and desperately need money to survive is never good sign. You should never do that.
Buy bitcoins with your savings alone, if you don't have any then wait or abandon thought about investing in BTC...

Lol, Clearly troll. Do you actually beleive he sold his car and dogs and spent it all on btc? I dont think so.

He might be trolling but selling your personal belongings for BTC is not bad as trolls make it look. It should be considered hard cash as even bitcoins are worth but here people seem to make fun of anyone investing in bitcoins which shouldn't happen. In fact a person can really make a lot more with their bitcoins rather than with fiat.

A lot of people are already  in much deeper than $18,000
I remember people taking bank loans out and they were buying up btc or putting funds into what later turned out to be ponzis and scams to make a profit way back when...

I'm sure many are still deep in the red and some will have given up on bitcoin altogether, others will hodl their last few coins for years getting to recoup losses in btcst and of  course a lot lost everything in gox, bitcoinica and several other expensive gambles....

I have no doubt that many people are in deeper than 18k, Im sure many have gone way past that but op has started of by saying hes sold all his dogs and also his car. Theres no way, Its clearly a troll. I mean who actually does that? Op is clearly mocking the "i sold my house im all in " thread.

I wouldn't even consider selling my pets, ever. They bind to you and they trust you and you push them aside to get a little extra cash?

Your car I can more than understand, but selling your pets is just inhumane..

Anyway, good luck, you now have a nice stash that should bring you some nice returns in the near future.

Quite interesting to see you selling dogs and car to buy bitcoin. If you sell your house also you may get more coin.  Grin
Hope bitcoin will be at 700+ so that you can buy them back with profit.

A robodog.

I myself sold my soul via silk road but the proceeds were seized by the FBI before I got them. This is a sore point for me because I have no idea who owns it now.

For real?

Proof or it never happened.
