Localbitcoins all the way for me.

Sometimes there's a massive premium when things are rising but when they level off or fall it often matches the market rate. I've bought online from there with no problems at all.

Seconding this.   The slow speed of the transaction (if you are doing an in person trade or physically going to a bank or wire office) can actually work in your favor if the market suddenly takes a turn for the better after you click "buy" and before you complete the transaction, due to the seller's BTC being held in escrow until the 2 hour escrow limit times out or the BTC get released to you.  Of course, it can also go the other way too...

Im in EUROPE and I want to buy 1BTC before it becomes impossible. Do you think right now is the right time, or should I wait? I need 1BTC for psychological stability. Im also considering a couple LTC just for shits and giggles, but my main goal is get 1BTC. Having less than 1BTC feels like a joke. This deep depression of missing the boat can only find relief in looking at my wallet and seeing ONE BTC at least.

So i've been looking at the different exchanges: BTC-e right now has the best price to buy, but they ask you for ID and shit, just like Bitstamp. MTGox is shit for buying, too expensive, and no euros.
Kraken: These idiots aren't validating my tier2 level
Bitcoin.de: I don't know if this is legit, price seems decent. Any experiences?
Virwox: The quickest and easiest way, but the fees suck.
Localbitcoin: I don't trust this, too many scammers.

Please, just tell me what would be the best way to get 1BTC right now. I just don't like the idea of having my ID, bills and more information forever stored in a database related to Bitcoin. Isn't Bitcoin supossed to be anonymous? Because it's the same shit again if you have to give your data to exchanges, which could be seized anytime for no reason, and your shit would be there for them to see, and conveniently apply taxes on your ass when they feel like regulating stuff.

Bitcoins.de has some happy customers around here , I don't have personal experience with it.
You can go with localbitcoins if you find a trusted trader , there are lots of people there with over 100+ trades that won't risk their business name for 1 btc.

localbitcoins.com is fine, just stick to established traders and, if neccesary, meet in person

Or the Currency Exchange subforum here (again, sticking with established traders).
