Also, depending on price, Hybrid cards are best, if too much more in your area than normal, go for as many fans as possible on the card.

Build a 1070 or 1070ti rig.
If you have the cash, go for the 1080ti.
Building the frame is fun too Smiley

I would also recommend you build your own. Start with NVIDIA as they are pretty much plug and play and very easy to set up. Also easier to maintain if you run into any problem as you do not have to deal with flashing the bios.

A good build guide with some available equipment if you are looking to build a 6 card rig can be found here

Hi,

Personally, I would suggest building a rig, so, there's a lot to learn with building this type of rig.

A good place to start is to have a look at some videos at the BitsBeTrippin youtube channel. There are some videos there that will show you how he goes through building a rig. Hopefully that will help you get started.

1stminingrig on YouTube is also a good starting point. as well as this site http://1stminingrig.com/category/tutorials/

The most complicated for newbies in my opinion is the more or less compulsory  BIOS mod of the GPU cards. A good entry point is this https://anorak.tech/ Because GPUs are the most expensive part in any rig this is the most scary part for newbies.

Hi,
May I make a suggestion? If you have a dedicated mining rig I would suggest not running Windows. Look at Ubuntu or if you are a novice you can buy Ethos, I messed around with Ubuntu but gave up and just bought Ethos since my time is more valuable than what it costs. My rig has been running 14 days straight.

I have built Windows PC, but nothing elaborate. So considering my build skill are novice, would you recommend building or buying my 1st rig?  If building, which tutorials or resource sites would you recommend? If buy, which manufacturer would you suggest?
