The cryptocurrency environment is like the Wild West. There is no one to police it so we are almost completely on our own. Unfortunately there is almost no chance of finding who that address belongs to, and even if you could, there is almost no way to force them to return your funds.

Many of us have had similar things happen and we just have to accept that it is gone and move on. Fortunately, if you can invest more into Bitcoin or another major cryptocurrency, you will probably still make a profit eventually to cover all of your loss.

I'm sorry for your loss and the situation you are in right now. It might be a huge hit on your part and some people will just won't understand how you feel. No matter how hard you tried, the money you lost were gone. I'm afraid to say this but it is impossible that you will get it back. I admire your post and this will help others to be more careful in their upcoming transactions. Thinking before clicking is a must in this industry and hopefully the same case won't happen to others. Let's be cautious and pay more attention to our transactions.

Try a google search. For ex i googled the adress and beside a topic from here, i found this

Sorry to hear that. I hope you will find him and he will agree to give you back your money or at least a part of it, but people are wicked and usualy don't do that. The least he can do is give you back 25-50% of it but since the address is pretty anonimus I.m not sure he will. This is the problen withcrypto. Onve the money is send, you can.t get it back if the other person doesn't want to.

he is kind of a gullibility scammer, meaning he gulls the gullible!
and you probably fell for one of them, either the "double your bitcoin" thing or the "claim XCP using my private key" scam. in any case don't expect any refunds.

You typed the wrong address? did it belong to someone? or if you send it to an address that no one has, someone can mine it? - if so, How did that guy "mine" the transaction?

He just sent it to another wallet?

First of all, you need to admit that finding a person using simple address is really not an easy task it is like finding "Needle in a Haystack". Bitcoin Cash is also adopts some of the ethics of Bitcoin, hence transactions are anonymous and it is impossible to find the owner of address but if you still want to try to contact the owner try searching the address on different sites including this forum. I'm sorry to hear your situation and unfortunately there is no way to recover your funds or identify the owner of that address. It's a hard lesson to learn but just make sure to double and triple check addresses anytime you send some of your funds.
