As someone who has done what you are proposing for a while, let me give you some advice.
First of all, great job for not begging for BTC. Offering to provide a service in exchange for BTC is how this community continues to grow, and the people who come in looking for the easy buck are not adding any value.
I HIGHLY recommend setting up a blog and posting regularly. In all likelihood, you won't make a great income from this but it should probably pay for itself plus a little more. It also serves to provide an easy venue to get your work out there and provide an impressive portfolio for someone that might pay you for services and it keeps you practicing and honing your craft.
Lower your expectations (from wherever they are), at least to start. You will be working for unattractive wages because your customers are comparing you to what amounts to sweatshops of writers trained only to optimize articles for search engines rather than real eyes.
Keep your writing high-quality and resist the temptation to become some sort of blog manufacturer. You want to enjoy what you are doing or you would be outside doing whatever manual labor is available for higher wages. The internet can use a few more good writers to stick to their guns and make content that people want.
I can't pay you, but if you want to post as a guest writer on
BitcoinBabble.com, send me samples. Otherwise, you're on the right track and post links here when you have work for us to check out.
Good luck!
