wallets cannot be merged, similar to how cell phone numbers and email addresses cannot be merged. your wallets will need to be treated as separate entities, which is not entirely a bad option.

Welcome to the forums! Basically the bitcoin-qt is not the best wallet software but it is the original one. Bitcoin is awesome because there is no country that governs it. As far as accepting bitcoins, coinbase has a one click payment setup thing... Also coinbase is one of the best online wallets there is! It a win win

Well, some people love BTC for the main reason that it's de-centralized. That means there is no "company" or even "person" who owns it. I know TONS of traders and shops that accept bitcoin, hard to list all of them. And even if you can't buy an item directly, you can always buy it with bitcoin off someone else. What program couldn't you download? Bitcoin-QT? Check if you got the right version for your computer, if it doesn't work, use online wallets like inputs.io or blockchain.info.

I downloaded the program but i faced a problem, i dont know where and how to use the BTC coins ive earned.
