I just want to say HI and want to ask for some help with building my mining Rig Smiley

My Setup for beginning:

ASRock MB-970EX4 w/ cheap AMD CPU
A bit of Ram like 4 or 8Gigabyte
2x or 3x ATI 7770 or something else.

Could someone say me if this would be profitable?

Cheers!
With the 7770s you would get around 250 Mh/s: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison
I would recommend a couple of ATI 7950s: http://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-Mini-Displayport-PCI-Express-Graphic-GV-R795WF3-3GD/dp/B007581QHG
Why do you recommend 7950's over 7770's?  Is it to make more efficient use of the PCIe slots?  The 7770 is better at Mh/s / $ and MH/s /W than the 7950 by the numbers.

Oh, and that's one heck of an overclock to get 250 average out of a 7770.  Stock is around 200. (at least that is what I get out of mine with poclbm kernel.  I got 150 with phatk).

And, depending on what you pay for electricity, you will be lucky to pay for electricity much less get your investment back.

Honestly, now is a tough time to get into mining.

I can't believe that I'm about to suggest this, but If I were you and was determined to start mining, I would take that money and buy some BFL Jalapenos.  They are actually shipping and there is a chance you could get your product by the end of July.

You'll have much more total hash power and although ROI will be pretty far out, you will eventually be making money.

The Jala's will be mining long after the GPU's as the GPU's will be sucking down too much power for the amount of bitcoin they will mine.

Having said that, you would be better off buying Asicminer shares.

Good luck!

A couple- being two? Is the ROI worth it? (Noob question, not troll)
