. Don't procrastinate your investment, and don't invest harder than you can handle; otherwise, you might not be able to hold it for a long time. Also, remember that Bitcoin investment is not just a short-term investment.

It's good you cleared out the procrastination aspect for the fellow when it's come to accumulating more BTC in your investment because this has been the major problem for many folks and it's occurs in almost every aspect of your life not only  when trying to keep with an investment. Procrastination is very much destructive and it can delay and way you so back down so I will like to sound out the warning on you trying as much as possible @OP to avoid procrastinating when you are building up your portfolio.

Seriously, I am pretty impressed by your post, especially considering that this is your first post in the Bitcointalk community. In your attempt to describe bitcoin, I think you may have some knowledge about it. It's great to see you within our means and you are welcome. op I wish you would continue to be so enthusiastic about studying Bitcoin, but all I know is that you want to learn a lot and become very knowledgeable about Bitcoin and it blockchain technology, you won't be afraid to ask questions. Please don't be shy about asking for assistance; there are plenty of members that can help you out.

I hope, I'm not late for Bitcoin because Bitcoin already grew a lot.

Honestly, early investors have benefited a lot from their Bitcoin investments, and even new investors will benefit due to the nature of Bitcoin volatility, so never think that it may be too late for the price of Bitcoin. If the price of Bitcoin is determined by its demand, I don't think it will always be late due to its volatile nature, so far, people are keeping using it and adopting it.

Bitcoin is safe now for 10+ years and many hacker tried to hack Bitcoin. No hacker succeeded because Bitcoin is proven to be safe.

I agree that Bitcoin network is highly secured now but it is wrong to assume that Bitcoin had never been hacked.  There is an incident where an attacker had successfully hacked and exploited network that produced 184 Billion BTC being minted.  There is this article that states the event when Bitcoin network had been successfully hacked and exploited.

There is supposed to be two incident but the second incident was detected earlier  by the BCH developer (supposed to be previous BTC developer) and took selfless action before it was exploited by the bad actor.

The event when the hacked took place is as follows:

Quote
1.The CVE-2010–5139 bug on August 15th, 2010 resulted in 184 billion BTC being minted. On the heels of this event, core developers Gavin Andresen and Satoshi Nakamoto had to roll back the blockchain in order to purge this transaction from block 74638.

2. More recently, on September 17th, 2018, the CVE-2018–17144 bug was discovered by a Bitcoin Cash (BCH) developer who selflessly took action before it could be exploited by a bad actor.

These are called inflation bug. You can read more about it here: https://medium.datadriveninvestor.com/itcoin-unhackable-it-happened-twice-not-blowing-smoke-9e16bcddd5ab

2. Also, Bitcointalk has many established member. I try to make a good contribution, I try to be polite ofcourse.
3. Bitcointalk has many interesting topic. Everyone who knows Bitcoin should know Bitcointalk.
And we can learn A LOT from Bitcointalk.

1. You are not late, as there is no time that is ever too late to join Bitcoin, as the coin is not dying anytime soon and there is no price limit, which one could say has gotten to a point where profits can no longer be made, nor is Bitcoin a fabric material whose quality could fail out based on how it has been used. Now that you have come to know about bitcoin and want to start your journey, all you could be thinking about is mapping out your plan on how you will use it to accumulate as much as you can afford. The DCA strategy will definitely be the best, as you can accumulate as you grow.

2. Contribute where you have something you can share with the community that could be beneficial to others, and others can learn from your knowledge as you will also do the same. Here in the forum, you allow the forum to pass through you, and you also pass through the forum as it's the best way to grow.

3. Not everyone who knows about bitcoin knows about this forum; many might have heard about it, but they are not in this forum as they learned about bitcoin outside of this forum and established their knowledge more by doing some self-research, where they might have come across the forum name but might not know how active and informative the forum is.

Welcome OP to the forum and while I don't remember the excitation of my first post anymore, I don't mind if you put a little bit too much icing on the cake. It's OK, enjoy the ride and keep up your enthusiasm.

To learn more about Bitcoin you can of course read here but I love this site: https://learnmeabitcoin.com (work yourself slowly but steadily from beginners to technical sections; I still visit it from time to time to brush up things that I forgot).

Learn to use the forum search or even better and faster is the wonderful site https://ninjastic.space

It's always appreciated when someone who has questions has done at least some amount of prior search as a lot of topics have already been covered. The difficulty lies in finding them, especially in a large forum like this...

Don't get discouraged, we've all been there, too.

it's never too late to build an investment. not that the value of Bitcoin is already so high compared to when you looked at it a few years ago.
You should look at a chart of Bitcoin price movements, and you will be able to understand why more and more people are coming to invest in Bitcoin. this is not only because the price has increased greatly. but also related to existing technological developments.

welcome to the forum, if you want to learn more about Bitcoin. You are in the right forum. then it's up to you where to start and how you develop your potential.

No, you are not. Despite the fact that Bitcoin price has grown far beyond its starting price, there are still many more high prices it will cover. In 2021, the Bitcoin price saw an all-time high, but after that, the bear market set in and the market crashed again, which some people did not even expect after reaching a very all-time high. So, if you are consistent in accumulating your Bitcoin, just as you have only started, then you will make a profit in the long run. Don't procrastinate your investment, and don't invest harder than you can handle; otherwise, you might not be able to hold it for a long time. Also, remember that Bitcoin investment is not just a short-term investment.

You are late to bitcoins like I was, thing is we should have started earlier, but since we are starting now, it is still good.
I don't think so, Mr Peter Ben is still early to bitcoin because he can still invest now that the price of bitcoin is 29k+ and he will still experience the bull run next two years. Bitcoin is something that you must be ready and prepared for.

You are in the right place to learn a whole lot on bitcoin and its blockchain technology. Feel free to navigate round the forum and look for boards that are of your interest. Whatever that you don't understand be free to ask questions as we have experts here that will help you. The technical side of bitcoin is not compulsory to know before you can invest in bitcoin. Bitcoin has its basics as soon as you know that your bitcoin journey will be a success.

Bitcoin is a great technological piece because Bitcoin needs to be safe from hacker. Much money is stored in Bitcoin network and if it's not safe, we are screwed, everyone.
Bitcoin was not hacked, not because it is safe or because Satoshi developed it securely, and if this is true, it is because of its nature. Bitcoin, by its central nature, cannot be hacked because it is not the servers of a central company or service, but only paired spending is possible if the hackers have the longest chain starting from 51% from the network to launch a successful attack. learn a lot in a short time by reading some books or watching YouTube videos.

I like your passion and enthusiasm. It's good. While you are here take the time to read and learn more about the forum while you are learning about Bitcoin. Bitcointalk has changed lives of many users and it can change your own life too and put you in a good, better or best position if you set your goals of what you wish to achieve by being here. That is all that matters. I would also like to give you a heads up that newbies often face critical comments on their posts by higher ranking members, therefore you should expect it and develop a thick skin. And if you feel it is too harsh, you can take some days off for your mental health. I wish you more bitcoins to your wallet.

First of all congratulations on this forum. Everything seems so amazing to you because you just started in this forum but when you become a regular member of the forum you can tell about these things to the people who sign up as a newbie and want to know about these things. Bitcoin is an amazing invention. Just as the US dollar is used by people all over the world, Bitcoin is used by people in different countries around the world. While you cannot use US dollars as an investment, you can use Bitcoin as an investment. Bitcoin is a digital currency with which it is possible to conduct almost all types of activities such as with Bitcoin you can trade, invest for a long time, and in all countries where Bitcoin has a legal document, you can do various transactions through Bitcoin.

Hack Bitcoin is a vague phrase.

Hack a Bitcoin wallet software, hack a Bitcoin wallet, hack a website that provides online wallet, paper wallet, attack the Bitcoin network. What did you mean about hack Bitcoin?

About network attack, Bitcoin network has very high hashrate, very decentralized and risk to have such attacks is very slim.

- not your keys, not your coins
- decentralisation is important
- always research first to avoid scam or shitcoin

You're just getting started, if you are really determined for learning you will still discover many more than this with bitcoin together with some opportunities that comes with using a decentralized digital currency like bitcoin, i believe with this your kind of move, you will always have more than you ever wanted with bitcoin over time.

I'm sure you studied Bitcoin before joining the Bitcointalk forum, your presentation at the start of the topic was very clear and I have no doubts about your abilities. It's never too late to trade and invest in Bitcoin even though its development has been very rapid. Welcome, and now that you have expressed your enthusiasm, I recommend that you use the forum on a daily basis to learn mainly, since you say you don't know much, and with time you will also be able to contribute your knowledge and exchange impressions. That's what a forum is for. If you have doubts about the technical aspects, people who know a lot are quite helpful but you'd better do some research to have a minimum of knowledge before asking.

Today, I've signed up on Bitcointalk because it seems to be really interesting for a lot of Bitcoin contributions.
It is interesting to see, how Satoshi achieved to grow Bitcoin community and how he created a very good coin, making it possible to establish Bitcoin and Bitcointalk was very important to make it succesfull.
Satoshi build Bitcoin and as a coder, he really listened to community feedback and tried to explained it because Bitcoin was (and is) still very technical. Bitcoin is a great technological piece because Bitcoin needs to be safe from hacker. Much money is stored in Bitcoin network and if it's not safe, we are screwed, everyone.
But Satoshi was good coder, he made it safe. Bitcoin is safe now for 10+ years and many hacker tried to hack Bitcoin. No hacker succeeded because Bitcoin is proven to be safe. It is very, very unlikely for Bitcoin to be proven unsafe after 10 years of hacker review. I don't read hacker news but it's common sense.
I'm not coder, so I don't understand it but of course I tried to have education because education is always important for any issue.
Like for Bitcoin, we can already summarize a few points:
- not your keys, not your coins
- decentralisation is important
- always research first to avoid scam or shitcoin

I hope, I'm not late for Bitcoin because Bitcoin already grew a lot.
Also, Bitcointalk has many established member. I try to make a good contribution, I try to be polite ofcourse.
