Weird? Every time a new subject on bitcointalk is created, I have K9 Mail set up to receive notifications through email on my Android phone, and it never stops delivering notifications even if I haven't visited the board or opened or reacted to a thread.

Here is the filtered topic posted only in Meta. And I am sure that I open new topics thru email only whenever I visit the forum for the first time in the day.

@Little Mouse, do you use email aliasing services like simplelogin? Sometimes, there occurs bounced emails resulting to undelivered messages.

Check out my reply again

If you subscribe for new posts for Meta. So long as you keep posting in the board topics every few days, then you will keep receiving notifications. Once you stop replying like for say over 1 week, the notifications for newly created topics stop coming. Once you post again in the board after the break, the notifications will start coming again

I checked your post history, and you seem to reply topics in Meta after every few days, which is the normal threshold for you to be able to receive more notifications.

That is what I personally observed.

My long-term account stopped working yesterday, but I never got an email explaining if it's an account issue or whatever, as it seems you're supposed to get. Wanted to see if others are having email issues, and it appears that way, at least for yesterday? I'm getting emails today from the site on my new account, but still nothing about the old one.

Right.
The forum doesn't send you any notification email for the new topics made on the board you have subscribed to as long as you haven't opened the topic you have already received notification for.

Are you referring to something like this?
"If I don't check the last new topic posted in meta, I won't receive a notification." Is this?
I see, maybe that's the problem lol. But as far as I can remember, I had meta subscribed and I had all the threads checked, and still, I didn't receive a notification for the thread I mentioned above. I can be wrong though lol. Thank you anyway, It is clearly stated in the mail but I didn't notice at all.
I also noticed that if you subscribed for the new topic in the board. You will receive notifications in the first few days, and then they will stop coming in when you stop participating, discussing in the board

They only start coming in again once you have made post/reply in that board

I recently have changed my email address on the forum as Gmail wasn't notified me of the mail I was receiving from bitcointalk. That's why I changed my email address from Gmail to my personal webmail. I'm receiving every other mail, but no mail from bitcointalk. The first few days were great, I was receiving notifications of new thread creation on my subscribed board but now, I haven't received notifications of new thread creation on my subscribed board. Anything I should adjust or tips from anyone?

What i noticed about their notification concerning the email is that once they sent you a few couples of notifications in which you find no time to check them by clicking on the link to redirect you to the forum, they may stop sending you further more not until you also start reading and clicking on them on the forum, i think it's a best idea they have adopted in other to avoid accumulating notifications set by users even while they were no more active on the forum, so it's an indication that you're active and follow up with the updates they always notify you, the alternative to this is the telegram bot which is only available for tracking threads and not boards, the more reasons some preferred the notify me function through their mail, but you must be clicking on the links on updates sent.

I don't think that's an issue here in my case because I received a notification of bitcointalk.org image proxy doesn't specify user agent but not the notification of Use this BBCode to insert historical BTC quote in your post.
Take note that the forum doesn't send you notification for any new topic made on a broad you have subscribed to.
I guess you haven't ever noticed the message written on the new topic notification emails the forum sends you.

Who needs email notifs from new topics/ replies anyways.
They are useful in many ways for a lot of people. Otherwise, the option wouldn't exist either I think.

Maybe your webmail quota has reached its limit (if not limited)?

The previous thread for which I have received notification has been created after the creation of the 2nd thread for which I didn't receive any notification. The only possible scene here I can think of is, "The thread has been moved from another board to which I didn't subscribe for notification." But nothing is confirmed, just my guess.

I can't tell the experience of having own webmail but i have no issue receiving mails from bitcointalk using my gmail. Some of the emails directly go to Updates folder but most of them go to Inbox.

Maybe browser settings is somehow involved but if you use tor they won't.
Sending and receiving mails issue usually came from its mail settings or DNS,double checking MX record might help.

After changing email you received notifs on your new email right? Have you tried to check new email settings to see if forum mails are marked as spam? Have you tried to unsubscribe notifs from the setting page on profile and subscribing back? Have you tried logout and login again? Maybe browser settings is somehow involved but if you use tor they won't.
Who needs email notifs from new topics/ replies anyways. Lol. Just wait for a train of well informed members coming in order to help you out. Lol again.
