Among the list, I am familiar with HITBTC and LATOKEN. Among the two exchanges, I only tried the HitBTC but it was a very long time ago. I'm glad they are still here.
I agree with @TelolettOm, checking their trading volume is another way to check if they are good to use or legit.
Another thing I can suggest is checking the community and reviews, check if there's something in the internet that complaining about their exchange or some reviews.
HITBTC and LATOKEN are past exchanges that provide several advantages for me personally,
especially HITBTC which is a place to sell some airdrop coins and bounties that I have participated in.

Even HITBTC used to be quite popular before Binance, I also did some trading.
But for Latoken I don't use it often, just a few times.

Regarding the volume owned by the Exchange, it can indeed be the main benchmark that the Exchange is good and in great demand by users,
especially the community that is active for the Exchange.

Unfortunately, HITBTC is not crowded anymore and only has a volume of $190,091,263 and is in 339th place.

Now a days more than 95% are turning into scams. Even the top projects who looks super good will not be there for long, If your lucky enough you might come out soon with some profit or else you are dead forever. I myself a victim here who lost everything and came out from dead now.

It as become way more easy for scammers to dupe investors, Do not trust no one who say invest here and there showing magical figures and all those lending platforms showing high APY%.
I was so happy planning my retirement by now but nothing went as planned and lost all my life savings and I am barley surviving now.

So all the newbie's here be careful and watch out.

is there somekind of list with legit - verified exchanges where the list is constantly updating if there is some bad news happening ore withdrawls getting delayed etc..

does anyone know if this exchanges operate and are thrustworthy:

https://lexmo.com
https://hitbtc.com
https://latoken.com/
https://www.coinw.com/
From these lists, Latoken is the only one I tried, but not for now.
Why don't you look for it on coin market cap or CoinGecko? There are several exchange lists there in order from number 1. And their reputation is also good compared to the exchange lists that we list here.
Check this:
https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/
https://www.coingecko.com/en/exchanges
Binance is the main one and is very trusted.
You can also find other top exchanges according to the list. You just have to choose the one that is most suitable for the country you live in and its availability.

im tired of this SCAM exchanges theres full of them out there..  you just cant trust anyone nowadays
How have you been using the exchange? Actually, there are many like actions that we can find. You just have to check the coin market cap then select the exchange section. there are many exchange lists there and choose at least the top 10. So far I use Binance as a global agent. this is no problem in any way. Sometimes there is a delay if the transaction is crowded or something on the network. but it didn't take long and I got my money. but we really have to be careful and choose the right exchange, especially if it is indicated as a scam then the possibility of losing our money is getting bigger.

When it comes to your list then I'm much aware about latoken and hitbtc. I did have use hitbtc in the past but I'm not sure if they are still nowz the last thing I remember is that I did leave because they do have very huge fees.

Plus hitbtc have some various accusations and issues
https://www.reddit.com/r/hitbtc/comments/lxbhjc/hitbtc_is_a_scam_here_is_exactly_how_their_scam/?rdt=58439
https://www.reddit.com/r/hitbtc/comments/hbz22e/people_scammed_by_hitbtc_this_is_the_biggest_scam/

Don't know if gets resolved or not. When it comes to exchange then heres a good list.

1.Binance
2. Okx
3. Kucoin

Reminders: Dont store up your assets on centralized exchange. Always remember "not your keys, not your coins".
We've seen tons of possible of exchange issues and no matter how reputable or known it would be, there's always a chance that you could lose up your coins.

I just got to know about lexmo for the first time today and non of the exchanges you listed made the list of the top 30 exchanges by coinmarketcap. So you need to do some findings before using an exchange because there are many scam exchanges out there. Also, I wouldn't advise you to store your funds on exchange and I hope you only use exchange to trade.

If you're asking if there is a platform where you can get updated info about exchanges like withdrawal delays, hacks etc, yes there is. You can see such news on crypto aggregator websites but it's mostly about the big exchanges.

THE WORST EVER
Being honest, when dealing with CEXs you get used to bad service, the smaller ones are prone to selective fraud, fake volume and horrible transaction costs, even bigger, more reputable ones have the tendency to either being "hacked" or yield to regulatory pressure in ways that hurt their users rather than their business

Before, I tried Hitbtc and Latoken, so it's just not suitable to use for me; it's just an opinion. Because most of the ones listed on Latoken are actually shitcoins and fake volumes of the coins listed here.

Then in Hitbtc, the fee is very expensive. In my experience, it's really different when you use the exchanges that are in the top 20 listed in the market than the exchanges you mentioned, which are worthless in my opinion.

Same here, I remember Hitbtc being every bit as bad as yobit, decades old systematic frauds disguised as exchanges, haven't touched it since 2018

Latoken is a shitcoin hellhole, but if you think about it, most people knowleable about crypto use CEXs only when trading shitcoins

Hello Guys,

That's the whole point, you should use DEXs in order to have no need to trust someone, anyway, if you absolutely want to stick to centralized ones maybe you should try the biggest ones like kucoin and Binance, kucoin is the one I like more personally

These two are popular before and maybe they aren't that bad like now, because you know, many new exchanges have came out and surpassed their legacy. And it is normal for a failing exchange to just accept any tokens because they are still being paid with it. Hitbtc do only have a different approach.

Maybe they didn't accept much shitcoin but they only try to earn more via the expensive fees that they set. We don't know the other exchanges listed by the OP, so I wouldn't judge them yet. And when I check the CMC top exchange list, I'm surprised that there is a Coinw there. So maybe that exchange truly has a potential? And the other one might still be starting. Well, let's just see their performance later on if there is an improvement.

These exchanges are not so big. It's means liquidity on these exchanges is very low. Price differences in buy and sell order book is very high. So, I can't prefer you to trade in these exchanges. I prefer you to start your trading from binance because it's the most legit exchange of the crypto industry. And the biggest exchange as well.

Perhaps you could explain what you intend to do on the related exchange, as not everyone may understand your goals in choosing an exchange. Many people would be willing to provide exchange recommendations based on your goals. As long as the exchange you choose is not so popular at the moment and not familiar to many, it seems like a significant risk to transact or store big assets there.

I think this isn't a matter of rank, where I often use my local exchange, which is tokocrypto. Until now, I haven't seen any signs of suspicion that this exchange is fraudulent. Moreover, this exchange is regulated and officially monitored by government agencies in my country, so I'm confident that the rank doesn't have a significant impact here.

Hitbtc and latoken has a very poor reputation exchange. The other 2 is completely unknown for me which is a red flag. If you are really tired on scam exchanges then why stick on popular brand such as Binance, Kucoin, Bybit and more instead of trying to use unknown exchange.

There’s a lot of DEX too that will save you from hassle of thinking whether exchange is scam since everything is transparent including the available liquidity. But I knew bestchange.com provides a collection of exchange which they trust. I’m not affiliated with them but they are on this business for a long term and established already good reputation so it’s worthy checking their service offer.

There are many scam exchanges, you are the one looking for problems for yourself by trying to use exchanges that are not the popular ones that are always mentioned here and used by many cryptocurrency users. Why did you need to go searching for others, or have you never heard of Binance, Kucoin, Okx? @OP. Those are common exchanges, that even though cannot be trusted fully to keep your investments, but can be trusted for their long time in the market and old reputation.

Why, don't you use the tracker? You can track exchanges by different means by their volume, and trust score ranking, even with the maximum supported pairs as well. The above exchanges you've mentioned I've never even tried before. Seems like whoever mentored you, completely misguided you. If you find them by yourself haha seems like you were on the wrong track.

Here on the forum there's no automated system, every post need to be updated by user, except for a few cases, so better relie on the trackers as CMC, Congecko.

Why go further down the ladder when you can choose from top exchanges that have good reputations. When it comes to crypto affairs, whether it's crypto coins or exchanges, I go with the ones that come highly recommended, because from my observation there are lots of scam altcoins, so it's not surprising that there'll be scam exchanges too. Except these unpopular exchanges have something unique and different to offer, it's best to stick with trusted exchanges like binance, kucoin and other established exchanges.

What could be the reason that people go for unpopular and unreliable exchanges. Maybe exchanges that are very new and unrelated. Could it be that they offer some irresistible offers or what?
Could it be that the have good trading pair or maybe the do not KYC. I really want to know why people will leave some reputable and established exchanges to patronise relatively new and likely scam exchanges.

Your keys, your responsibility
the problem is most of this exchanges are listed either on  defilama

ore  other several known crypto informative websites

for example coinmarketcap

also cryptocompare.com
They're simply aggregators who dont selectively list exchanges worth using, their verification based on their customer reports (although a bit too late to raise a warning flag). You should never use sites like that as personal recommendations.

There are about 41 CEXs published on this site, and none of the platforms I mentioned are among the top 20 platforms. On the contrary, some of them are not listed:

 - lexmo.com: not listed
 - hitbtc.com: not listed
 - latoken.com : NO 30
 - coinw.com: NO 24

So you have the first 15 CEXs, choose any of them.

Also, if you do not want to complete KYC, try DEXs

None of them are thrustworthy. All of the above are either small, niche and known for shady behavior, or small, niche and unknown to anyone. All of them additionally have fake volume, fake order book, huge spreads and, as a result, huge transaction costs. They do not have a large active user base nor are they regulated entities nor even tries to be regulated. you have to trust them not to cheat you and the economy drives them to cheat. They have nothing to lose (brand, customer trust, reputation), they do not generate large profits, and customers' wallets have funds that are tempting. I would avoid any of these.
The only exchanges that can be trusted are Binance and Coinbase. Maybe kucoin, but the list is slowly ending. But I have a good news for you. All you need is 1 good exchange. You don't have to have the whole list.

I don't know what the reasons are that made your options limited to these platforms, but hitbtc.com has a long history of selective fraud. latoken.com is an unknown platform and it seems that they bought several positive reviews to appear as if they were a good service. The rest of the services are unknown, and if you search online, you will not find them. Something about them so it's best to avoid them.
What exactly are you trying to find that we may be able to help you with?

First, where are you finding your exchanges? i think that could be a problem as well.

Hitbtc is known for it's scammy behavior - search threads on bitcointalk and reddit. I've heard of latoken years ago but I've no idea how it's doing now... The other two? never heard of them. If it's a CEx, much better to go with the long established exchanges like kucoin, bybit, kraken, etc.

I don't think there is a verified list which you speak of but you could always look up what people are saying about a particular exchange. For instance I typically look for posts in bitcointalk.org, reddit.com or sometimes twitter.
