-Okay, so messing around with the asteroid miner, for a few days (which has a very nice GUI), I have discovered a few things.

-The optimal setting seems to be 11 under normal circumstances. This limits hardware errors which cause invalid shares and lowers your accepted hash rate.

-One tweak I discovered is lowering the resolution from 2560x1440 to 1280x720. This entirely eliminated all hardware errors and I was able to run Asteroid at 13-14 netting 90-ish kH/s, all of which were accepted.  I assume this is because I was reducing the monitor stress on the GPU by 75%.

-A must have program is Macs Fan Control. This allows you to set the various fans in your iMac based on numerous factors, such as GPU diode. Mine was idling at 85+ under load, and is now sitting at a nice 65.

-You can try and run BootCamp. I tried Windows7, but could find NO OpenCL support for Radeon utilizing bootcamp, and was stuck with the hashes from the processor. If you find a workaround for this, please add, and I will update this post.

-Any other tips anyone else may have would be awesome.
