I've been doing Data Recovery and Image Forensics for the past 3 years. I'm sick of those streaky colored lines! Why would you want to do that on purpose?!

Side note: when this usually happens, the lines are still horizontal like you have them, but they stack from the bottom and work upwards, not from right to left.
