Yep - been thinking and I’ve been using different sites for resizing images and I think they have a limited life span - doh !!!! Thanks for your help .
I use imgur , but can you suggest any decent image resizing sites. Thanks
Edit - Can I resize on imgur ?

If the original disappears, it won't work on Bitcointalk either.
I don't know the site, but judging by the name it's only meant to resize the image, after which you'll have to host it elsewhere.

Hi , I made this post in this topic and the image was there for 2 days and then it disappeared.
I’ve noticed that this has happened once before . I was just wondering if this is a glitch or am I doing something wrong while inserting images ?
