In Satoshi I Trust
I have a revolutionary idea that could replace the current model for online bitcoin marketplaces.

Today's marketplaces are vulnerable because there is a central point of failure.  A central server.

Why not use the idea of bitcoin's protocol to create a marketplace?  A peer to peer marketplace with no central server.

I need programmers to make this happen, and donations to hire the programmers.

I'm aware of such a project and it works like a btc wallet with a market place built inside.
The market is kept up by people who are using the service everyone turns off wallets the market just waits there until someone needs to make a sell or trade.

Plenty of projects like this has popped up since silkroad got taken down.

one for one and 1 2 3
Sorry for saying but to me it looks like a donation and not a project
But if you say so be it.

This might work if your market will not be hidden on tor network, no matter your mode of operations it shall be closed down like evo and the rest.

Besides the nxt marketplace there is a p2p-marketplace named OpenBazaar. The last project received some good funding in the last time and they might be worth being checked out by you. It was hard to use them a year ago but i guess they now are more mainstream.

I've heard about it. This project looks much better for me, thanks!

The decentralized engine is already available.
I never tried this software before to recommend it and isn't bitcoin-accepting:

A 1 x post newbie, will not receive any BTC from anyone with a dodgy idea.

How would you create a peer to peer market based on Bitcoin? The Seller will inject his message into the blockchain, advertizing his products or services... but how would the buyer know about this message, if it's not advertized somewhere? {The moment when this is posted on a centralized public server, it would be taken down}

Who will Escrow the money for the transactions? {Centralized again} You need people to trust the system.

Why would you expose yourself to this? Was Ross and Silkroad not proof enough, that these Markets will be targetted by governments and then taken down?

Good luck, but I think this will not work.  Roll Eyes

4 lines and a cool title isn't enough substance for free Bitcoin. If you want to scam users, you need to put more work into the thread

Great idea! Actually how the transaction? How about the security payment and guarantee of the goods sent? Just using an escrow?
BTW if you need a logo or graphic design, PM me Wink
