I'd say most illiterate and stupid people voted to leave the EU, yourself included. You live in fear and you spread fear, that is all you know. You say "remoaner", I say "brexshits". Immigration from alien cultures does need to be controlled, but to throw all the other progress away seems asinine. It has taken forty years of work to bring a continent together and it became the largest trading bloc in history. You know who sets the trading rules around the world? The biggest economy.
I don't think that the EU is perfect by any means, but it is a hell of a lot better than any alternative around the world at the moment. I have yet to see a single positive thing come out of the negotiations. The bigger partner in any negotiation will always have the ultimate power - 27 countries versus 1. Simple mathematics that you cannot understand. Now, instead of leading Europe from inside and having a VETO over any legislation - we are still subject to all the same rules but with very little ability to change the future.
