Grin Thank you all I just resolved this issue.

Might be worth mentioning that if you imported the private key, that particular address won't be recoverable wherever you imported it if something happens.

Make sure you don't discard your vanity address' key and make sure you don't store too many coins on it since it's not as safe.

I think it's better to use other desktop wallet instead.  There's a list of desktop wallets here and you can see their features by clicking on them.

Desktop wallets certainly also have nice features, but why do you think a desktop wallet will be better for OP in this case? I am using both kinds of wallet and without too much challenge. I simply find easier to do some things ( like RPC scripting with bitcoind ) with one than another.

Grin Thank you all I just resolved this issue.

So, did you decide to continue using blockchain.info further? Could you explain what the problem was and what was your solution? It is possible that others would find your solution helpful. For me, I did not really understand what your last issue was from the description lol

I also use Electrum since few days and need to see it's a great wallet. When you installed the wallet they ask if you want create new wallet or import private key. Bitcoin core need the full blockchain downloaded and electrum don't require a copy of the full blockchain. https://electrum.org

See that blue "Import Address" button?  That's where you enter your private key.  That's what steven0021 was referring to, I believe.

You can still import private keys in the new blockchain.info wallet from Settings > Addresses > Import Address.
thank you for your answer but it don't work, watch-only address
I gave up on the new blockchain.info wallet, so I can't find how it works exactly. But I can imagine it's a watch only address if you import the address instead of the private key.
Did you import the Vanity address (1yourname) or the private key?

What do you mean? You want to watch only or can't send? I just tried sending from imported address successfully.

Or I guess just ditch bc.i and try the wallets HTML6 suggested.
Bitcoin core, hardware wallets, electrum, mycelium, bread wallet. All of these are very easy to import your private key and you can just Google a guide on how to do so if you're having problems with it.
can i sweep balance?

You can using electrum.
