As an individual considering to start trading, understand that the money you can lose trying to learn to trade on your own when you know that learning on your own is a difficulty will be more than the amount of money you will spend if you decide to get a mentor, teacher, or guide early.

A mentor, teacher or guide will not only teach you the basics in the order of importance and how you should know it, but will also share with you their experience, and that can be very invaluable.

Some early mistakes in trading are capable of ending your trading career. A mentor, teacher, or guide can help you avoid some of these major pitfalls.

Yeah, I can say that a mentor is quite important for beginners to be able to navigate the trading market quickly and more safely. Mentors will provide various lessons and their experiences well to beginners, and beginners can ask about various things about trading to their mentors and that will be able to avoid them from mistakes that are commonly experienced by beginner traders and allow them to establish a better foothold in the trading market. However, getting a mentor requires money, or if you are lucky someone can get a mentor for free but it is very rare for a professional trader to be willing to teach for free. Therefore, a beginner if he does not have money then he does not need to force himself to get a mentor for his trading - just learn by yourself slowly through Youtube, books, or other sources, that should be enough.
It will really be just that depending on you on which neither you will really be finding out its relevance in terms of making you some guidance into your learning curve and sees out that its really that effective then it wont really be that bad on having such mentor or someone who do teaches you up, because there are really those individuals who are really that slow when it comes on learning things and thats why they do really that prefer on having someone that would really be  teaching up along the way. It wont really be that bad as long you are learning and does have the money then it will really be that up to you. Somehow if you are someone whose really be that trying out to save some money then having some mentor wont really be that necessary but rather you will really be just that learning on your own with your own approach and time. Even myself would really be that looking these mentors arent really that necessary or something wont really be that make you sure to be that profitable in the end and really just that adding up some more expenses into something that you could be able to learn on your own. Just like on what everyone is really that saying on which everything could really be found on line in speaking about on the informations you would really be needing for you to learn up
along the way. Its up to someones hard work and determination on how they will really be learning up things accordingly. If you are that really being hard working and serious on learning things then it will really be that not a problem on learning or dealing up with something new and despite on having no guidance then you could be able to make yourself learn without any hiccups.

You are right because trading is like a profession or a skill and to acquire any skill they most have someone that would help and perfect them, so actually that's the first step someone should take before starting trading, so actually when it comes to trading there are people who would volunteer to teach but is better getting a good teacher who will take there time to explain about it since they have been paid to, actually trading is something nobody should go through the back way to start it because just like you said a hit from the market can end the story of the trader.

A mentor is very good if you have the opportunity to meet a successful trader—I mean, someone who has already successfully started a trading journey. Because this person will guide you in every step you want to take in your trading journey, and also that will reduce the loss on trading. Although even if a trader has a mentor, they will still lose, but not the same as when you do it alone.

And also after the learning process of a newbie trader. Although sometimes we need to be careful with some traders because not all of them are good at trading, as they show up, some of them do different things and claim that they are traders, and that is why some newbie traders will lose too much even with their mentors.

A lot of people neglect the importance of having a mentor to guide them in their journey to becoming a successful trader. Learning about the financial market by yourself might be very challenging, you are going to make a lot of mistakes but having an experienced mentor to guide you can facilitate your learning process and prevent you from making some bad choices. I would suggest beginners to look for a mentor that can teach them physically instead of buying courses and seeking online mentorship, most of them have scammed a lot of gullible people.

It’s not actually necessary that a mentor, teacher or guide is a person whom you trusted the most. Your own mistakes and failures could also serve as your mentor and guide. Although the learning process could be quite difficult, but if you have the will and determination to succeed on your endeavor, you will not limit your learnings but will explore more outside the context.
Even with a mentor, mistakes are still bound to happen. These mentors may be experts in trading but they still have moments when they make losses and still learn their own lessons too. A newbie trader still needs mentorship to guide him on what to and what not to do, this does not mean that everything will go smoothly and very perfect. While he gets this guidance from his mentor, he would be gaining some experiences along the way. The good thing is, a good guidance will reduce the number of mistakes and ofcourse risks he will make. If he is determined, he will grow and do even better. But, he should prepare his mind for any outcome because trading can be emotionally stressful.

Mentor is only a guiding hand, whereas you yourself - you are an explorer, who takes decisions and makes the best out of them.
Emotions are at bay, and you - in profit.

If you are a newbie in the field of crypto trading and you have a mentor, it is an advantage if the mentor is good—a teacher who will guide you in this matter. Or there are others who invest in attending seminars about trading just so they can learn.

That's why those who pay for the seminar that will teach trading, I don't favor that because most of those who attend this session will be wasted, because the learning of trading is not obtained in one, two, or three sessions to be able to say that you will be wise and be able to trade and be able to get a profit in the trading industry, which is usually what the mentors teach in a session or seminar is really just the basics. This is all I know only.

The pioneers that turn out successful traders are the living proofs. It’s just a matter of courage ang patience. That is why if you want to trade, prepare yourself, financially, mentally, and most importantly emotionally, as there can be no instant success to trading.

Patience and hard work are the keys to success.
A teacher or mentor is essential in learning anything, not just trading. You can acquire knowledge without a teacher but you must face some problems to put it into practice. Because education and practical use are two different things.

By the way, I find it most important to have a mentor or teacher when it comes to trading. You may be able to learn the trade on your own very easily but practical application is very difficult. You don't encounter those risky or difficult moments of trading when you are most likely to lose. You don't even know what to do in those moments. A teacher or counselor has experienced these moments, they know what action to take at any given moment. They will definitely teach or help you learn realistic trades.

The one who will teach trading should not tell when to buy and what to buy, otherwise there will be no sense in such training. After training, the student should start trading independently (preferably with small amounts of money), he will of course make mistakes, and the teacher's task will be to point out where the mistakes were made, so that it is clear what was done wrong.

And then everything will depend on the student, if the mistakes are repeated again and again, then most likely such a trader will not be able to become successful...
They don't have to tells that but people who under them will thinks that those people will gives their prediction and will say that they should buy the coin at a certain price. Many people becomes rely on them and wait for the next signal from those people but again, they will difficult to make more profit if they do that. They will not have a chance to improve their skill better because they don't want to learn more about trading and only wait for their mentor saying about what coin they can buy and what price they can place their buy or sell order price.

Some early mistakes in trading are capable of ending your trading career. A mentor, teacher, or guide can help you avoid some of these major pitfalls.
But even if you have a mentor, there are some early mistakes that you still have to make, sometimes your mentor will instruct you to do something, but you might be scared, and you won’t do it, so there are some little mistakes that, as a beginner, you can’t just avoid.

Yes I think that's true because no matter what is called a mistake, it cannot be completely avoided, especially when we are talking about beginners, even in general experienced traders are never free from mistakes, perhaps it can be said simply that in trading, mistakes are something that is very possible for a trader to do even though he has a mentor, and remember the role of the mentor here is to minimize all unwanted possibilities, it does not mean that you will never lose but their role is to make the amount of your loss not too significant with the scenario of giving you direction regarding what is allowed and not allowed to be done in certain situations.

I agree that the current trading space is full of people like that - but if that's your friend or pal, then maybe it's worth risking things out.
Otherwise, if he offers you fees and why not, or you don't have evidence from others that he really delivers - yeah, that's a no-no.
True, if it's a known people to us, it's worth to try but don't wholly trust them. Because with that kind of relationship, they might go loose on you and will do crazy things with your time and much worse, with your money. Only it will happen when you're too gullible and don't consider things before finding a mentor. The evidence and condition will be based on you as a mentee and from there, you have to see results and that mentor friend needs to show results too. If nothing is shown, you better stop trusting that guy with your money.
I had one, he was a friend and he was a finance person before he got into crypto and after getting into crypto he made a lot of profit because to him it was simple and he made millions. He helped me learn trading, before him I didn't completely understood things, I had some studying about it before him as well, but I never understood it completely and things didn't made sense and I kept on making a loss. Thanks to him answering my questions he helped me realize my mistakes and I started to make more money.

I didn't get rich like him, for two main reasons, first of all I do not have the capital that he had, but secondly I had to also take out money all the time to pay for my life and debts, so I never grew too much neither, but my results are better thanks to him.
That's better than nothing. And you owe that to your friend of yours and that's why sometimes, they're all a blessing in disguise and we only have to start talking to them so that they will know what we are up to. With that, you're able to learn more and become better in trading and even if you didn't become rich, you already have a path way and all you have to do is to continue and make sure that you get something from the learnings you have made from him. You can still do and if capital is the problem then it only takes you to save some money first.

Sure, if you are learning on your own, you are going to lose more money in the learning process, but that doesn’t mean you are not going to lose when you have a mentor, it’s just that there are some mistakes that you will make when you don’t have anyone to guide you, but if you have someone, then mistakes like that will be avoided, so if you are going into trading, it’s not a bad idea to have a mentor if you can get a reliable person, not a newbie that will claim to be a professional.

Yep, if you find such a man - stick to him like he is your guarding angel  Tongue
I hope for everyone to find such a man in their appropriate lives and trading careers..
But it's rare to find that guy that will serve as our guardian angel specially in making money through trading. There are self proclaimed mentors and trading experts but with a cost of fee. That's why if you ever find someone that tells you that, you are on your own if you want to spend some money or not. As for me, I will not spend any penny on them because even if they tell me that they're the best mentor and trader in the world but they can't prove me that and they don't show any proof that they are, they have been already crossed out by me.

I agree that the current trading space is full of people like that - but if that's your friend or pal, then maybe it's worth risking things out.

Yes, that is the importance of the role of a mentor in guiding beginners, on the other hand, yes, you may have to spend some money to pay for their services, some people say that it is a waste, but try to think about this, isn't it when you do it yourself without being supervised and directed by someone experienced then it is very possible for you to lose much more money than you should? of course, so one of the benefits of having a mentor besides directing you on the right path or directing you to the right initial steps as a beginner, they also help you avoid the possibility of losing unnecessary money.

Or simply, their presence also has an important role to help minimize the risk of losing money due to an action that you should not do, so the point is if you do have an amount to pay the mentors apart from your initial capital to learn trading then do it, but if it turns out that you do not have the ability to do that then there is no other way than to learn autodidactically.

Mentors in starting trading are indeed very good, but finding a mentor who can teach us and be trusted is also an important thing to consider. I started to be interested in trading because of a friend who had been trading for quite a long time. but I didn't immediately ask him for help to be my mentor. I started trading with a demo account, there were many things I didn't understand and tried carelessly. I even considered trading almost the same as gambling. finally, I asked my friend for advice, but he just guided me in some preparations before starting to trade. from there I learned that beginners really can't trade just like that. there are many things to learn and prepare for. not everyone who has the capital to trade can trade.
In my opinion, in the world of trading, mentors are very helpful and most importantly we can get a good and experienced mentor, who we can accept and understand when the mentor gives good input or direction.

And like your story, if we have a friend who is experienced and also has a good trading track record, there is nothing wrong if we ask for guidance from that friend. Because friends will not provide direction and guidance and also bad trading knowledge and he will definitely provide the best knowledge according to his best experience. And I also experienced that and besides that we will not feel awkward when learning or giving us good things that make us not tense and also not too serious and can do it together is more fun.

I am lucky to have a friend who can help and share his trading experience with me. I am very helped by all that. but he always said that everything he gave was not enough, I have to find more experience myself and also knowledge to develop my own trading skills.
I know I can't always rely on him, I have to be more independent in trading. I tried many things even though I also exchanged views with my friend. like trying to copy trading on an exchange that I was very unfamiliar with at that time. even my friend didn't use it in his trading. until now I still often communicate with my friends, even though it doesn't have to be about trading.

Some early mistakes in trading are capable of ending your trading career. A mentor, teacher, or guide can help you avoid some of these major pitfalls.

A mentor can also end your trading career because not all mentors are good . Some mentors do not care about your development because they do not want you to be better than them. They are willing to be teaching you as far you do not become better than them. People are that wicked and that is why at times, it is better you learn things on your own instead of depending on people to help you. You can make it without needing anybody helps but it will take alot of effort from you. With a mentor, everything still depends on you because you will be the one to make th decision that will help you become a successful trader. There are some people that have mentors and it makes them to become too dependent on their mentor for everything without being capable of doing somethings on their own.

A mentor is good if he doesn't make you dependent on him.
Then he is no mentor, he is a leech, basically. And should be dealt with accordingly.

People should not dependent to their mentor. It will not result to them if they just stick with them since there's no full learnings to get and you cannot explore on other things important to know if you stick only or became dependable on what your mentor said. So leveling up our knowledge and exploring new information is important since this will help us to became more better trader. Since mentor for sure not know everything so its good for people to take initiative to add something that can helpful for them on the career they choose to learn.

So good for other people have this luxury where there's someone who can able to guide them to learn on trading since they doesn't need to face a lot of struggle since there is a people willing to guide them.

As somebody that's still continuing to learn trading only by myself, having a mentor, teacher or somebody that will guide you would be helpful.
Now the question is, where can you find those "LEGIT" mentors, teachers or those that will guide you.

Online? What are the chances of you getting scammed by them? You're lucky if you have somebody that you really know that's good at trading, but aside from that, nobody can teach you in a "LEGIT" way than yourself, and your experience in trading as well. TBH, I can't find a legit mentor online and if you know somebody that's a legit one then it would be a good choice to share it here. Traders on YouTube you might say. Well, it can be, but still, I don't know how I can trust them especially if you're a newbie and you want to learn trading.

I have nothing against having a mentor when it comes to crypto trading. The problem that I see is that I can't find any of them, and if there are, how sure you are that they will teach you instead of milking you with those money.

But a mentor can not be besides us all day long because he have his  activities. That is why we must learn from other people and other sources so we can improve our skills better and not rely on him. If we can have a good skill to analyze the market, we can enter to the market anytime we want and the chance to make more profit will be bigger.

A beginners should learn how to trade with right and he must spends more time to learn more from other sources. He can not wait for his mentor gives a sign to buy coins but trying to analyze the market to find the coins. That will help him to improve his skill in trading so he will not have a difficulty to search for the coins that have potential to increase.

Only by trial and error, a person can take the lead and become better than his teacher.
Nothing beats the good old practice, albeit, with risk-management intact to save your depos for the future.

Thats the hassle thing when you do deal up on having a mentor on which you would really be that depending or basing up on their schedule or simply means that you will really be that definitely be basing up
into their vacant time on which i do prefer live sessions trading than with those recorded on which you cant really be able to have that good interaction in between you and your mentor.

If you do find yourself needing up that mentor then it will really be that up to you because not all people will really be having that kind of preference on having some mentor but instead they will really be liking
that they will be learning up things on their own. There would really be those who do really have that kind of laziness on which they are highly dependent with those mentors
and less up learn but not all because there are ones who do able to learn.

We are all once a beginner and it will really be that facing up those kind of intents and emotions due to lack of knowledge and experience on which this is normal.
People are really just that in a hurry on the time that they will be knowing about making money on something.
We will difficult to improve our skill when we rely on others in trading because we will thinks that we don't have to learn many things and only waits for the next info. That will not help us to understand trading better but we just waste our time by waiting for that mentor. Yes, we become lazy and don't want to think how we can have a better skills in trading because we can wait for the next signal to trade.

We can search for the mentor but that will not means we need to rely on him because this is our money which we need to responsible. If we can take the lesson from the mentor and search for the other lesson from other people or other sources, we will have a better skills that we can use to trade and analyze the market.

We want to make a profit from trading so that will need more learning about trading and not just rely on others. It is why we must realize that we need to have our skills so we can analyze by ourselves and improve our skills to be better.

A mentor, teacher or guide will not only teach you the basics in the order of importance and how you should know it, but will also share with you their experience, and that can be very invaluable.

The thing is that in Trading you have to understand that threading is all about transmission of knowledge and then when you fell not to understand the rudement of threading I think that you will not be able to excel well in Trading so from my own basic understanding is that for you to make a profit you must learn and understand the preambles of trading before you come attach your own knowledge to make it a perfect desperate that there is nothing can be perfect but with your own wisdom of understanding the concept through what your mentor taught you can make you to have a versatile knowledge of threading so learning is the most important thing in Trading for me I say is the key which everyone who is interested in trading should at least attend a trading class before you can proceed to thread on your own

Of course, knowledge is crucial in trading.
What is practice without theory? - It's like flying into the skies without knowing the moves for it.
So in order to succeed, a person needs to be cautious, craving for knowledge, and ready to make some mistakes along the line.

I am happy that you have a friend like that and you probably changed your stance on trading.
So overall - stick to good people around you and minimize the risks you have at the table, and trading would be a thing to try and learn and improve in.

Otherwise, if he offers you fees and why not, or you don't have evidence from others that he really delivers - yeah, that's a no-no.

Indeed, having a mentor creates a big difference. It provides you reliable feedback and learning experiences so you can avoid common pitfalls. It gives you high motivation and boost your confidence in trading. And most importantly, it leads you to new skills and strategies with high emotional and mental support which is very essential as a trader.

However, trading without a mentor does not necessarily mean that success is unreachable. Of course, if you can survive the rough roads in trading, and be able to learn from your own trading mistakes and failures, trading success is definitely achievable in the long run.

I agree. The road to success would be harder, that's for sure, but you would be more knowledgable in the end, in my opinion. And would be able to teach others as well as time goes on and expertise is piling up.

Anyone who gets into mentoring gets also a support group with other mentees, I think that's a good idea if that group is all about learning and progress. There are mentors that create challenges for their mentees and so they become competitive on their own once they're released in the wild and decided to be alone.

However, trading without a mentor does not necessarily mean that success is unreachable. Of course, if you can survive the rough roads in trading, and be able to learn from your own trading mistakes and failures, trading success is definitely achievable in the long run.
There are traders that have learned on their own without having the mentors. They've learned through deep research, experience and as well as continuous learning through various resources that they're able to gather throughout the period of their trading time. These people are scary and dangerous because they're determined to be one of the best and they'll eat out alive the weak traders.

Having a good mentor will play a very important role in a beginner's life, especially in terms of limiting their risk in trading. Trading is very hard, and it is a good idea for someone to have a mentor. Once someone has that mentor, there are small mistakes that other beginners might make, but a beginner with a good mentor may avoid those same mistakes. When someone has a knowledgeable person guiding them, their understanding is often different from someone studying alone to gain knowledge. A mentor will break things down and explain concepts in a simpler, more effective way. Like me when I was learning about trading myself I found it more difficult to understand easily and I was even try to give up to once one of my friend was guiding me the was understand and trying to put this in practice it was surprise.

You are right, but I think different people will have different mindsets and different approaches to what they do. Some people might find it difficult to understand certain concepts if they are not guided by someone else because they can't comprehend what they read or listen to in a video, and they need someone to break everything down for them. Some people, on the other hand, wouldn't need to be spoonfed like that, and they would understand things very well even without having a mentor or someone who would tell them every single thing.

I wouldn't talk about others, I'm an example myself because I never had a mentor when I started exploring cryptocurrencies and this market. I have always done everything myself from learning to starting to trade or making investments. I have always been interested in it so it wasn't very difficult for me to understand everything.

So, the point is, that some people might need a mentor and they do play a great role for them, undoubtedly, but some people can do things on their own.

Their experience is really invaluable we must listen to the stories, which they share occasionally. But as a newbie, it's hard for them to judge either the person they are following is a good mentor or not. I consider myself a newbie in trading, and I really don't know if I learn technical analysis, I would be making more profit or not, and they are complex too, plus I am doing well with fundamental analysis. But still, to learn more, I prefer to watch old videos of the influencers I follow so I can confirm whether whatever they are sharing is good or not So now I have two dudes on YouTube who share good videos, and I have been following them for 1+ years.

If a newbie is doing future trading at the moment, then they should stop it immediately. A mentor would also suggest the same that future is not for newbies. The dudes I follow really shared good stuff and saved me from big mistakes so never test that you have natural powers and you can earn without any mentor or you don't need one. Finding one won't cause any harm.
That part about not being sure about the mentor being any good or not is the main reason why we are facing this many trouble, because we really do not know if they are good or not. We try to make assumptions, but if we are listening to someone that is bad, and we do not realize they are bad mentors, then we are going to learn bad ways to trade and that would result with us making a loss.

I try to see what people suggest, that way I know people who have seen and listened to others, and they review basically those people and based on those reviews I can see if they helped anyone or not before. If they did helped people and gained a lot of attention because of it, then we are going to end up with a much better result eventually.

Having a mentor is indeed better in trading, but having a mentor does not guarantee your success in trading. The point is, it comes back to yourself in starting trading, having a trusted mentor is good because we can quickly understand or can restrain ourselves when making decisions, but nowadays there are also many bad or irresponsible mentors who even have to pay for their mentor's services. So be careful in choosing a mentor.

Even without a mentor, you can also be successful, especially in an era like today, it is very easy to learn trading and getting information is also very easy. The important thing in trading is only one, don't want to get rich quickly from trading, but be lazy to learn and lazy to try. In fact, trading is also a business, it takes time to build, analyze, learn, sacrifice time, money, energy before you can get consistent profits.

Now there are many traders who can learn a lot from experienced traders and investors on social media, and there is a lot that can be learned from their experiences in trading so you don't need a mentor who has to be paid for trading, the important thing is to want to learn from their experiences.

As an individual considering to start trading, understand that the money you can lose trying to learn to trade on your own when you know that learning on your own is a difficulty will be more than the amount of money you will spend if you decide to get a mentor, teacher, or guide early.

Some early mistakes in trading are capable of ending your trading career. A mentor, teacher, or guide can help you avoid some of these major pitfalls.
There are persons who have defiled this norm you just stated, they have learnt on their own and still didn't get to loose money so much that it would have cost them if they were to get a teacher or mentor as the case may be, deduction and determination sometimes even matters the most and not basically the mentor or teacher because even with all of that, someone can still not get it right as they may not have the discipline to follow up with the teacher or mentors guide all through so that will make them exhaust the time stipulated for learning yet without learning any just yet, so it's basically a thing of discipline and the mindset.

This day, traders are not willing to mentor anyone for free again, because at the end all that they believe is that, once it doesn't have a price tag to it, people won't value the mentorship, so for that, teaching newbies how to gamble or every other things requires the mentees to pay a fees, and from the introduction of that fee, comes the possibility of scamming in the whole system, because most of those that charge those fees will never give in the time to properly teach the mentees unless for a few of them.

You said the truth also, because many times, some mentees have made some mistakes of loosing a life mentor because of their carelessness a d the rest of the others habits that take them off the presence of the mentor, and the negative impact of this on their trading journey is severe and bad.

Many of the losing we recorded while trading as newbies are all because of our inability to have a lesson and a guide before starting off to trade.

The best opportunity is when you do have a friend-trader, that way, you always have someone to speak about the situation, for free, and it wouldn't make you feel uneasy or uncertain about something if your friend is a good trader. Knowing how to control his emotions, etc.
It's rare and scarce, but it's possible, in my opinion.

A good teacher can only be a practicing trader who already earns money in trading (theoretical knowledge alone will not bring results), but I doubt that such a person will want to spend his time teaching someone else, and if he does it for money, then his lessons will be very expensive, which will be too expensive for a beginner trader to afford, but most likely it will still cost him less than when he learns from his mistakes on his own.

It is quite possible that beginners will buy coins based on someone's recommendations, because choosing something yourself when you are just starting out is very difficult (an exception may be bitcoin). And they will buy at random, or based on the news, and this approach is often unprofitable because the market is constantly manipulated...

Even though a good mentor would help, the best teacher is the practice that is done by yourself.
Facing all the problems the trader faces without a backup of sorts is as good as doing it with someone who would drag you out of the mess you may do, in my opinion. For different reasons.

Yeah, the mentor should be a guiding hand in a time of need - not a hand that does everything for you.
It teaches you, doesn't replace your decision-making.
So think about it in this way, and not in a way that would harm your deposit in the long run.

That’s the best thing for anyone that want to begin a trading journey, is better to have hold who is already be a while in the trading, because once a person hold who as become expert about the trading your journey will be very easy: since they will guide you in to full details of full trading and if they give a person proper guide on trading everything will become very easy when it comes trades.

That’s why for a person to having a mentor who’s is going to hide him to gain proper knowledge about the trading is very important, but some beginners will be thinking that they can do it even without a mentor and that’s why most of people’s failed in ever they trade. Because their lack of proper education and knowledge.

Not everyone could afford a mentor, for this reason, we have this community and few other social media like youtube, quora where you can get your problems addressed. Hiring a mentor is definitely not feasible where I live but probably online mentors are possible; instead of going for virtual mentors, I will prefer this community even I will be forced to wait for the exact answers for my doubts.

I believe every newbie trader must be having their friend as a mentor. Still, I am sure there are people who learn everything from youtube and without any friends around. Overall, having your friend as a mentor will definitely help and also being active on social media will enhance the learning process. If you are able to afford a mentor for hiring then you may go for it given that you can double check the rating and prior experiences of mentors.

Some early mistakes in trading are capable of ending your trading career. A mentor, teacher, or guide can help you avoid some of these major pitfalls.

Learning trading today is not easy today but we can search for many lessons from the internet. Although we don't have a mentor, we can still learn from that sources because many good videos that can help us to understand about trading. But if you can get a mentor that can help you anytime you need a help, that will be good for you because you can learn from that mentor and improve your skill.

Many beginners doesn't know about that and without considering to learn about trading, they enter to the market and buy a random coins based on what they read from their social media page. That makes them lose their money and that happens over and over if they don't realize and understand that.

That's the main formula for anyone who is involved in crypto trading, crypto trading is not the same as trading in supermarkets, accompanied by experts is the best method and strategy, the crypto market is very risky.

So, if someone wants to be successful, they have to learn, not imitate, trading in the crypto market is not as easy as people talk about and not as easy as what we see on YouTube, without guidance and guidance, losses are right before our eyes, For that reason, I support what the OP said, don't be careless and rash in your actions, if money on the internet disappears like lightning, it won't leave a mark, try asking more questions from trading experts.

I still remember there's a so called professional trader in my country, he sell a subscription to join in his private group for trading. He give e-books, trading signal, risk management etc, but there's always a sentence "trading is high risk, we're not responsible for your losses".

But, after few months, I know that he's just a liar.

His signal tend to lose than win, he said to use 20%-30% to invest in cryptocurrency, but he actually use almost of his money to invest in cryptocurrency. When his signal went true, he will spam and make him looks smart, when his signal went false, he will hiding in basement and come back tomorrow.

I also had a negative experience of participating in such a closed signal group. And before buying access to the paid group, I very carefully monitored the signals in the free group and there almost all transactions were closed with profit. Subsequently, I realized that the channel owner simply removes the wrong signals, leaving only those in the group that brought profit.

We could say the results are much better when we have the right people guiding us. Those who can afford to spend money and get a mentor have an advantage because, let’s face it, trading isn’t that easy to do correctly. Sure, there are a lot of tutorials online and a lot of people showing their skills on YouTube for us to learn, but they’re still not enough to make us really skilled. That is why, whether we like it or not, having a mentor makes learning faster. But of course, we won’t get everything from this—experience is still what matters most. Which is, I would say that we don't have to be afraid of taking risks and losing money if we want to learn something new.

Trading is not hard, it's very simple. All you have to do for successful trading is to buy at a low price and sell at a higher price. To be fair, I think that you don't need a mentor because what can a mentor teach you? You have to gain experience yourself. Watch the market for months, for a year, and make your predictions but don't bet your real money or bet what you can afford to lose. I think that practice makes perfect, over time you'll know when to trade and when to hold and rest.

Btw my biggest suggestion for you is to have control over your emotions. This is one of the most important factors in trading but keep in mind that you also depend on luck. No skill or emotional control can help you profit if luck is not on your side. You are not a whale, so you can't control the direction of market, you are a fish in ocean full of whales, so you need to swim behind them, not in front of them because they'll eat you.

A mentor helps you to avoid the mistakes they made as learners.;
A mentor can make to learn faster and succeed than your colleagues;
Without a mentor, you can also learn but you could make some avoidable mistakes;
However, having a mentor is not the ultimate, rather being willing and able to learn and be committed over the time.

Instead having one mentor, I'll prefer to have two teachers. I like learning from more than one source.

It's great to be able to have at least one, but a good one  Tongue
And the one who would be able to listen and study for good.
Most out there would just suck your bags dry for nothing.

People do not learn anything from birth.  It is not that there is nothing to learn in trading.  Rather, new traders have a lot to learn in trading, new traders will lose money without realizing it at first.  In the first case, if the cow loses, his desire or interest to become a trader will be lost.  If there is a teacher, guide, you will be saved if you have small mistakes.

Guides may help, but practice is the best teacher, in my opinion.
No matter the info you will read and process, it needs to be put to the real circumstances.

It is very difficult to find a good mentor, except if he is your friend or relative. Everything that can be found on the internet is usually cheating when a stolen trading course is sold for little money. Therefore, it is necessary to focus on self-education, which will be more useful in any case than if you give your money to a crook.
You are very right. Those that are good will bill the person except they are relatives. What that is mostly important in trading is to learn about risk management. It is not long to read and I do not think it can take more than 10 to 15 minutes to read. Having a mentor is not necessary. Many mentors are seeing money from the people they are teaching and not actually from trading. Some have huge amount to trade with which helped them. A mentor that if have small amount to trade, he will also be losing.

Mentors should be like a teaching hand and don't enforce their vision on their pupils.
And the risk-management is really important - with it, you will learn and have the ability to learn in the future, because the part of your deposit will be with you still.

It is good if you can learn knowledge and also shared experience from others. If they told you about mistakes in the past which cost them a lot of money, it is valuable lesson to pay more attention on. If they only share about success, don't trust them because this market is not rosy and all people have to learn with some lessons and losses, just small or big.

Mistakes in trading can end your trading career anytime if you have bad capital management by using all money for trading. You can lose all your capital as a newbie or senior trader.

A good capital management will help you control your capital better, reduce risk impacts on loss severity of your trading and whole capital.

Those who are privileged enough to have a mentor, teacher or guide at the beginner level are very blessed because of the endless opportunities that awaits them which you have already highlighted. However, it is not for everyone. For some reason some beginnersay not even have this opportunity. I am an advocate for learning from your peers informally. Belonging to a thriving and helpful community would always trump anything else in trading particularly at the beginner stage. Everyone is asking the right questions and having their peers who have had that experience or been in that situation put them through. That's it.

Some early mistakes in trading are capable of ending your trading career. A mentor, teacher, or guide can help you avoid some of these major pitfalls.

Having a mentor in trading is very important. A person with a mentor has an edge already over a person without any. A mentor can help you reach and achieve your goal faster if you’re able to learn and avoid some certain mistakes he did to have prolonged his success in trading. A teacher, guide or mentor have something in similar which is to teach to make sure their student understands better.

A mentor may not determine how much you can make or the limit to which you can be successful at trading. You need to put in your best efforts at trading and making sure that you do all it takes to make your trading experience a success. A mentor is just a catalyst but it doesn’t tell how much you could be or become after exploring their option in your trading journey.

The role of a mentor in any aspect of life can not be over looked and it advantages not only limited to trading alone but every other aspect that we choose to chase activities most especially money generating activities be it business, investment or trading, having a mentor will save the individual from possible incidence that can burn them out of motivations if there is no mentors their are looking up to, so I agree with the whole points you mentioned about the need for a mentor in trading.

Although many traders here in the forum leant trading on their own without the help of a mentor, including myself, I never pay anyone to learn trading all what I learn here in the forum, I always practise them with little amount I can afford and loses occurs in the fast time, but as time goes on and I learn from my mistakes, I was able to adjust to place myself on more profits compared to my loses right now, so while some need mentors, others may survive through without a mentors, it all depends on the approach each of us adopted from the beginning.

Did you get a mentor when you were a newbie in trading and that helped you so much or you did not get a mentor and you regretted it?
I will say personal experience and then the experience from others. Personally, I had a guide, so during my early days, I did not experience any loss bigger than the amount that I spent in paying the guide to learn under them. From the experience of others, I know traders who I can now call very successful in trading, and some of them will, at any time they have an opportunity to discuss it with me, recount the losses they made early in trading and how that could have been avoided if they had proper orientation about risk management before they started trading.

Trading is about experience and not just only about knowledge. Mentor will provide you knowledge but you will need to know many things on your own if you want to become a good trader.
A mentor will provide you with more than knowledge. They will share with you some of their experience; it does not mean that you will still not have your own experience, but the experience from your mentor as the added bonus to knowledge from them will help you.

I did not have a mentor but I lost money in trading at the beginning before I know I have to be very careful with my money. Trading is very hard to make money from at the beginning.

But having a mentor does not guarantee that a trader will not still lose money. Trading is about experience and not just only about knowledge. Mentor will provide you knowledge but you will need to know many things on your own if you want to become a good trader.

Definitely, having a mentor will boost your trading journey up to a certain percentage.. that's because you will have someone to guide you through the early stages of your trades till you get to that level where you know how to manage your own trades.. again, you should not just have any mentor, but someone who has been profitable on the long run.. don't have a mentor who has some more loss than his wins...
