I think what he wants to do is get someone to host his GPUs for him. Seems he already has the GPUs but doesn’t have space or time for getting them up and running.

From what I know there are some hosting places, there are a few that only do ASICS because GPU mining requires more maintaince and many will require you to keep it enclosed in a case and can’t do open air. Reason why is they need to exhaust the heat properly and can’t do that with an open air set up.

So I am sure they are companies out there in Europe which can host your rigs.

hi yes it's exactly that well I don't have the graphics card yet but for the moment I'm getting information, I found several companies that do that (see above)

Mining should be done in those countries where electricity is cheap and the tax is minimal.
There is no mining tax in Russia unless you sell cryptocurrency for rubles. Kazakhstan has minimal tax and cheap electricity.
It is profitable to mine in a private house, which can be bought for 10-12 thousand dollars in the village. According to the law, you can consume 15 (preferably 10) kilowatts/hour at an electricity price of 4 cents per kilowatt and you cannot pay any taxes.

I intend to find out where the tax rate is the lowest as well as for the tax.

Okay I will ask the mod to move this to altcoins. And I will effort to explain why it belongs in altcoins.

This section for mining is a pure bitcoin only section.

When you mine with gpus there are 3 or 4 algorithms that can be mined at a profit.

BTC can be directly mined with a gpu at a loss. = pure

BTC can be acquired mining other algorithms and getting other coins and exchanging them for BTC =not pure

So asking about indirectly getting gpus to get btc at a profit belong in altcoins.

Okay you are in France I am not aware of french or european based mining services that would do what you want.

Now private people may do it for you.

For instance you could hire a person to build a 12 card minerdude rig and run it.

But there are not a lot of trustworthy people around.

Once this is moved to altcoins I will comment more.

hello, sorry I didn't see that it was a section specialized in BTC mining, I didn't really understand what you said but I found some "colocation" for everyone to mine cryptocurrency in the same place with professionals who take care of everything, example : startmining.io

what do you think about this kind of thing ?

Don't lecture me please, just tell me if you can help me I already know that bitcoin mining is not extremely profitable but even if I can barely pay back the price of the card in 2 years and make a little profit I don't care because I plan to invest a lot.
You cannot use a GPU for mining Bitcoin because difficulty is far far too high for them to be even remotely usefull. Bitcoin mining has been an ASIC-based hardware world since 2014. ref https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitcoin-mining-intro-rules-of-this-subforum-read-before-posting-2415854 mainly point-3.

You CAN use a GPU to mine the plethora of other coins aka altcoins aka crapcoins.

Perhaps you think that the word 'Bitcoin' is a generic term for any crypto coin? It is NOT. It is 1 specific coin with its own tags, BTC and BTC, just as the USD and Yen or Euro are specific forms of fiat with their own tags/symbols.

yes I know I was wrong, every time I talk about crypto currency I confuse it with BTC, thanks for your answer

If he has rigs there are hosting facilities in Europe.
They will want the cards to be in server cases .

If they are professional since server cases will protect the gear.

okay this link is a very detailed link on a 12 card case/ server

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LR4vICzqh3M

the guy is not me

i used a clone of the case from minerdude

https://minerdude.com/product/pre-order-minerdude-x12-xtreme-12-gpu-smart-mining-rig-pre-order-delivery-late-aug-early-sept/

so you would want that case with 12 of these gpus

https://www.pny.com/nvidia-rtx-a4000?iscommercial=true

the case would fit all 12 pieces and do about 12 x 58 mh or 680-696 mh at about

1660 watts.

at the moment my best source would charge me 1400 a card or around 16800 plus 1200 for the case.

so if i built one for myself it costs me 18000 usd

now lets go back to the 680 mh number it is about 5.5 cents an mh or $37.40 a day with free power.

that means 500 x 37.40 = 18700 to break even with free power  .

now you can look around and see if you find better card deal and different setups. they exist

but there is no real company out there that will be really able to give you a true deal the simple reason is the cards are still costly.

I'm not fun of having lectures by myself, I just wanted to recommend some tutorial and other learning stuff which usually found from YouTube searches. Good thing for you that you got good amount of money to invest on mining, and just a piece of advice don't risk on things that you aren't aware with. So I wanted to share you a link where setting up a mining rig that's efficient, hopefully this will help you along the way.

* I am French *

Hello, I was wondering, is there a place where I can give my graphics cards (bought for mining) so that they take care of mining, monitoring etc. in exchange for a percentage of course? like I just put a lot of graphics cards and they take care of maintenance etc. and they take a percentage.

I'm asking this because I have a lot of money to invest in this but not a lot of time to spend on it

When I talk about keeping my graphics cards I'm talking about a professional thing like a company specialized in that not a private person, it must exist

Don't lecture me please, just tell me if you can help me I already know that bitcoin mining is not extremely profitable but even if I can barely pay back the price of the card in 2 years and make a little profit I don't care because I plan to invest a lot.

There are not companies like that even outside France? in any country?

please answer seriously
