Take the MiniRig apart and ship just the boards in multiple packages.  It is easier to declare the packages with a low value.  You can source the power supply, fans, usb cables locally.

But BFL states on their website they declare the full value on the customs form.

If it will get hit with a 20-30% tax I wouldn't want import it.---this important..

I am living in Hong Kong. BFL could actually ship to HK and I could manage to ship to China with small handling fee. Private message me if you want some help.

Just ship the damn thing by EMS, you think the custom officer going to know what the fuck is a BFL mini rig and properly charge you tax? that is IF the package get inspected at all. Just claim it's worth like $100 or something.

But BFL states on their website they declare the full value on the customs form.

oh, in that case, get some one in the US to ship it for you, like a trade company.

How about BFL competitors in China? Is there any?

Is this offer serious? http://www.btcman.com/bbs/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=353

Did I misunderstand it or did he ask for at least 10,000,000 RMB (1000 order X 10,000 RMB)?

That's too much cash, I think chances are zero that he will be able to raise that money from customers without having something to show first, what do you think?

That's a good idea, but most trade companies in China are doing export right?

If anybody here works in an import company in China please contact me.

Hi guys, I've been living in China for a while but have no experience with importing products here.

Would I get taxed if I bought a BLF Mini Rig? Have anybody done so with success?

Please share your experience with importing this or similar products such as computers etc.

PS: Sorry for posting in English, feel free to answer in Chinese though. Thanks!
