UPDATE: The BitcoinTalk join date requirement has moved to October 1st! I'm still not eligible, unfortunately. I joined October 6th...
But others will be happy I think 😉

Congratz! Let us know if you're accepted or not!

I started investing by buying some bitcoins and altcoins already. Can't wait to see how DeepOnion will do!

I can't wait too.. Their campaign has been very robust. I think they will be successful. Privacy coins are in right now.

3 days later, I'm still waiting for feedback :-(

Well, did you get accepted? It's a while ago now.

Anymore ways to earn deeponion coins? Theyre moderators are too strict to join. Is strict good for the community?

My account was registered 2016 but I'm still a newbie because I come here to read mostly and don't write :-(
iam feeling sorry for you, deeponion developer team consider that as wake up account, and that is a bad sign, you still can try apply airdrop and hope for the best because Onion is for everyone.
iam still trying to get my approval at DeepOnion AirDrop so best of luck for everyone

I got blacklisted in this deep onion program. Good thing i decided to join a campaign instead of waiting for my account to be whitelisted because its been two weeks since the assigned member to unblock became active.

I haven't participated nor do I plan to. But I've read multiple messages of people saying they didn't receive anything either.
I would watch out buying this one.

I was apart of deep onion and was there since the beginning before the first airdrop, I did everything asked of me, and still was banned, for no apparent reason.
So I parted ways, switched my signature, and am thankful for the few airdrops I did receive (still haven't cashed out). Now I'm not going to call it a scam, but their track record for blacklisting people for no apparent reason is numerous and stifling. I'm sure there's more to the story, but I'll leave it alone for now. Good luck, it's only a matter of time before the bubble pops. You live and you learn! Wink
Biggest problem with dealing with crypto currencies is that, it is hard to figure out that the other side of the website is a scam or not. Sometimes big websites which are very popular, do this and get away with it as they do it on a small scale, but still to this day the scammers are effecting a concerning amount of people online, and this makes the crypto currency market look bad.

As the rules says "Yes you can't join airdrop for now". For now just support deeponion and active on both forum. Maybe rules will updated again later.

I do not know also, I just signup from their forum a month ago and until I did not receive any. I am not updated since then. It seems they are correct that they are strict. I never mind, they have their rules.

It's not just you because of the newbie account. They are rejecting almost everybody and I think they are airdropping to their own shill account and keeping most of the coins.

Thank you all for the replies. There is obviously never any guarantee a cryptocurrency will succeed, but let's hope some of the more promising ones will Smiley
I will keep supporting DeepOnion and let's just hope I can join in on the airdrops soon.

Hi,

I created a DeepOnion and a BitcoinTalk account today. Will I be unable to join any DeepOnion airdrops after becoming a Junior Member?

I read the rules and this one attracted my attention:
  • All accounts registered after Sep 1, 2017 is not qualified. (updated 25 Sep)

I'm new to cryptocurrency, so I apparantly already missed out on this one? I like the DeepOnion concept...

Thanks!
Are you sure about that? it seems you are not a new in the cryptocurrency, i said that because you are understand about how the deeponion works especially you are know about the deeponion already made airdrop token, for the more requirement to join in the airdrop and you may visit the main thread.

Well, I think 1 day in is pretty new :-) At the time of writing my original post, I was 1 day in. The day before, I read hours and hours about cryptocurrencies, that's why I know some things. Not fully educated yet, though :-)

As i studird the deeponion thread and their community site https://deeponion.org/, it is not much tough task to join their airdrop. You have to follow the rules and made minimum 10 constructive posts each week in Bitcointalk thread with minimum membership of Junior Member. You can apply for their airdrop if you meet all their criteria and wait for the admins to check your account.

Too much regulations and control is stifling the growth of deep onions. Many airdrop that was drop last month are flying right now because of their open door policy and their community spirit. I think deep onion should look into their operatios if they want to gain relevance both now and in the future.

You are not missing lot of things. Many people here try to get more and more deeponion in their wallets just to dump them later. (Confess guys, please) So it won't be huge thing as its advertised.

you question is wrong. it is very easy to join if you follow their rules and join their great community here https://deeponion.org/?ref=509609. Register to the community site and do minimum 10 quality posts each week in BCT forum. Apply and wait for the moderator to review your account and if you follow all rules, you will be accepted.

You can't join the DO airdrop but you can participate in others. There aren't tons as a Newbie, but look in my signature. You should be able to join that one.

Yes, currently you are not eligible to join the airdrop. But don’t give up if you really want Deeponion, there might be a chance later on if the developer decide to change the rules.

Unfortunately, you will not be able to join the airdrop just like the many others out there. It will take you at least a month with active posting to become Jr.  Member and DeepOnion have made it compulsory for accounts to be at least Jr. Member. The whole airdrop scenario with this coin is disruptive as it has lot of users participating and unless they update their rules, it is unlikely for new members to be able to join the airdrop.

Do not. You do not regret it. Many people do not qualify you are not selected to participate in the voter qualification. The rules of the onion are very strict. And the token is concentrated in the hands of a few of them. Control is highly centralized. So can not participate in not regret it In addition to onions there are many projects can be operated,

The only way to answer the question is "maybe".  You are currently ineligible because of the newness of your account.  However, the developers have already pushed the registration date forward once already.  There is still 27 weeks left in this campaign, so it is conceivable that they may push it forward again at some point in the future.  Just keep an eye on it.
