Me too.
Brave browser gives me better experience, in terms of time required to surpass Capcha.
Previously, I used to log in with Tor Browser, that sometimes require so many repetitions to surpass capcha.
Then, I luckily known about the Brave browser via your site (with bitcoin song collection), then I sticked with the Brave browser till  now.
I can, and do, log in using the Tor window in the Brave browser. Haven't had any problems so far.

By the way, for someone who got trouble with capcha, they can visit there after log in to get unique capcha bypass code for each specific account.
Follow all the instructions after log in and click on the link below.

My friend's account got banned because he tried to log in via TOR
This is just a misunderstanding, as using TOR does not ban any Bitcointalk account. Many users here use TOR servers to browser through the forum daily to let you know its totally allowed here. Your friends account was not banned for using TOR but rather he could have did something like parallelism.
Parallelism? Sure... lol

Tor usage doesn’t ban anyone. But it can limit a new account registered with the Tor ip (no posting) until the users pays the evil units fees to “unblock” the account. That’s a mechanism that avoids spam registration of potentially malicious users. It happens with many Tor users because malicious people usually use Tor to mask their IP, and this puts the IP in some kind of “blacklist”.

Yes he had to pay this fee.

So if I understand you can register with TOR and then use the bypass link to login from anywhere

If he paid the fee he can grab the link from here https://bitcointalk.org/captcha_code.php and avoid captcha on login.

If he didn't pay the fee then captcha bypass won't help. He needs to pay the fee (or try registering a new account) to be able to post / send PMs. Captcha bypass is only for logging in.

If your friend was proxybanned on registration (it should load up a page with all the details; can't really miss it), he can bypass said ban by paying the fee. If that's not the case and the ban message is a standard one, your friend probably wasn't banned for using TOR but rather for breaking the rules. I've never seen anyone getting banned on Bitcointalk for using TOR (aside from the bypassable proxy ban on registration).

If it's neither, post a link to your friends profile and I'll check it out.

Edit: AdolfinWolf beat me to it and summed it up pretty well. Alex_Sr suggestion is useful if you don't want to keep filling captchas every time you try to log into the site.

I'm assuming you're talking about a brand-new account?

Probably because the exit node he was using was abused by someone else already, in which case he needs to pay an "evil-"ip"" fee. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/evil-score-visualization-1215937

If he was using an account which already made posts, i can assure you, his ban is not from logging in through tor.

Ok. So he wasn't lucky and should try with another exit node...
Thanks

Also it was a hell to register (went through tens of stupid captcha)

And what prevents once generate Captcha bypass code and forget about the captcha?
https://bitcointalk.org/captcha_code.php

I am not sure I understand your answer.

Once you are registered you have your own bypass link, right?
But my friend was asked to pay just after registering to "prove" he was not a hacker. Because his TOR exit node had been recognized.
