If the issue is not finding buyers, wouldn't it make more sense If you just explain the situation while providing proof (that the ownership of domain changed etc.) in the thread where you sell (assuming that you sell here)?

Some I will sell, and some I will keep. The difficulty with posting the info in a sales thread is that the digital market place is spammed amd bumped fairly regularly. I've already made a post about the fact that the board is of no use for selling domain names as a result of this. The name I plan to use fairly soon is BitMonthly.com, and I have discovered that it was used by a member of Bitcoin Talk. Here is his profile -

No doubt there have been some subsequent uses, and I'll need to research those.

Please note- I registered this name for my own use, I am not offering it for sale.

Reputation seems to be related to members activities. I don't think it would be productive to try to link the name to previous or current members. However, you do raise an interesting point about old links to the name on Bitcoin Talk.I guess the easy option would be to post the info in the off-topic forum. At least that would put the ownership change on record. Would this be a good idea?

As some of you know, I mine domain names, and sell them for Bitcoin. Recently I found some nice names, but they were used as HYIP sites. One that I want to use for domain name listing offered a monthly refurn of 150%, and it seem to have got itself banned in a few locations. That's not really surprising, as you have to be really stupid to believe that anyone would share such a great money making system. I'd like to publicise the fact that I am the new owner of the domain names, and that they no longer offer investment services, or solicit investments from gullible forum members.

Is there a board on Bitcoin Talk that I can use for such an announcement.
