Leave no FUD unchallenged

Qora is Satoshi, I swear I would put a bet on it if we could find out for sure. The guy fits the profile exactly.

As much as I like their work, I'd say they're probably a younger, next-generation, Satoshi-like, innovator.  Also, there seems to be a slight difference in approach and methodology.  Qora (the project) doesn't have a whitepaper and Qora (the dev) just dived head-first into the coding, whereas Satoshi started with the whitepaper and the code came later.  Qora is as awesome, like Satoshi, but I suspect the connection ends there.

I often wonder what those other complex ideas were he had. I too have sat down wondering since his public departure of Bitcoin dev team., I wondered if he had teamed up and created a few of these other coins. I mean why not, you see some coins always stay and other coins go away as fast as they came in. What might he be working on??

It will be difficult to come up with yet another revolutionary idea. I think he might be working on other applications of blockchain technology and he is still in contact with Gavin under a different alias.

I wish he would work on a project like Maidsafe or do he's own version of internet 2.0

We'll never know which projects he's contributing to

There's no way he would ever work on something as trivial as currencies. Decentralization of the whole internet and it's services would be natural next step IMO.

It's funny to think that Satoshi is probably working on some altcoin/bitcoin 2.0 project right now, but I think it's true.

Nope. He is sheep shepherd. In 2010 he realized all this is not worth all the troubles and he found some meaning in his life. Finally.

Here are two relevant quotes. If we combine them, I think we can conclude that Satoshi is still out there working on crypto-systems:

June 17, 2010: "The nature of Bitcoin is such that once version 0.1 was released, the core design was set in stone for the rest of its lifetime."

Final post:
Dec. 12, 2010: "There’s more work to do on DoS, but I’m doing a quick build of what I have so far in case it’s needed, before venturing into more complex ideas."

So Satoshi 1) thought bitcoin would become relatively set in its ways and difficult to change (which turned out to be true) and 2) said he was moving into more complex ideas.

This makes me believe that Satoshi realized that if he was going to continue making revolutionary technology, he had to leave the bitcoin project. Yet Satoshi was relatively obsessed with cryptocurrency, as we can see from this quote:

June 18, 2010: (I’ve been working on bitcoin’s design) since 2007. At some point I became convinced there was a way to do this without any trust required at all and couldn’t resist to keep thinking about it.

Do you think someone so obsessed with cryptocurrency suddenly left the field altogether? Unlikely. I think those "complex ideas" Satoshi was talking about in 2010 manifested themselves in 2011-2014 blockchain tech projects. In 2010, Satoshi and Gavin and others were talking about BitDNS. Namecoin, the first altcoin, was the result in 2011. Bitmessage, a blockchain based messaging protocol, arose in 2012 (another truly innovative project). "Nicholas van Saberhagen" was working on the Cryptonote protocol in 2012. Now we've got more projects than we can count. I'm willing to bet that Nakamoto contributed to some of them. It's funny to think that Satoshi is probably working on some altcoin/bitcoin 2.0 project right now, but I think it's true.

Minimum Effort/Maximum effect
The only way to follow is to notice the ideas, We don't know who they are, and that does not matter; What matters is that we know they build what is considered impossible by others... something that would require solitude to complete. There are too many nay sayers around people, if I see something game changing, that is where I will look, I will look for the spirit of innovation.

I was thinking definitely Namecoin. When I was reading up on Namecoin a year ago, I came across a thread detailing the logic, it convinced me. A thread starts people start talking about it, Satoshi comments on it and boom, new character comes up says, "hey, check this out." Smiley Check out satoshi's last posts, then vinced.

I believe Satoshi is an INTJ like me where the personality type tends to obsess over finding a solution to a problem, then once it is found there is no more need to think about it anymore. Move on to the next problem. His next project could be something completely different, maybe he gets water in his back yard every year during heavy rains and he has come up with some new way of making drainage simple, who knows, it can be anything.

Yes, all this can be true or maybe he have another investment ''brilliant'' idea, something like Utoken, supported by real bank...
or maybe he will invest his earnings from bTC in something completely new, free energy or something like this...
Whatever he start, i will follow him Smiley
How can you follow him? like does he have an official site or something? I dont think he is on twitter lol.

Lol, he doesn't. satoshi is a ghost, but I think he was speaking if he ever revealed himself with a new project, and he would then follow that. I doubt satoshi will develop a new project under that name if he does, though.

Bitcoins core seems like it is set up to just keep going and that's one great thing about it that it doesn't need much tinkering with.

Exactly. He may be working on something we're already familiar or aware of or may be in the near future.

It would be funny if sataoshi was involved in some of these crapcoins. Of course I don't believe he is, but the idea is funny nevertheless.

I would somewhat doubt that he would continue to work on projects out of fear that his writing style and programming style would be noticed by someone who is familiar with his work on bitcoin

And what is it exactly that he needs to fear?
