Maybe the most important thing as we read from news media is that Dmitry Peskov (Kremlin spokesman) said at the meeting the two sides reached in general agreement on the need to keep open the lines of communication between Moscow and Washington. Till now is very early, imo, to learn more about their conversation.
At the moment there are no statements about what was discussed on the 2-hour meeting, Putin and Tillerson. Among the main issues of discussion were mentioned - Syria, Ukraine, North Korea and bilateral issues. Now Tillerson is sent to the reception house of the foreign Ministry at a press conference. What do you think agreed?
I believed that they tackled the recent issue on the Americas launching of 5 tomahawk missiles against one of the bases of Syria. And probably they will also check if the issue about the production of a chemical weapon is really true and is just a bogus. Russia wants to stay away from war if possible and that is why they will consider any tactics to settle the problems without any resorting to conflict.

As much of obama was a muppet of thr snowflakes, social justices warriors and united nations dreamers this admin is quite different... the troompalas may not forget names like goldman sachs, exxon and others.
At one point the obamanites were forgetting that their little social skirmish were possible because of not being under the thumbs and feet of a man like putin and his goons.

I really suspect that Tillerson failed to get any concessions from Putin. Trump is more interested in PR, in order to improve his approval ratings, while for Putin there is no need to further increase his already sky-high support levels.
What do you think success was supposed to be? This is the Trump administration. He's not going to give Putin a scolding, he's going to stay "stopping fucking up!" No news out of this meeting is exactly what Trump was hoping for, thus a success.

I think this will escalate into something we don't really want tat the moment, which will help usher in the coming global recession. Russia has to respond if we intervene again, and I feel as though we will be provoked into doing so. I'm not really a fan of Trumpian tax reform (essentially tax cuts for corporations, and the elite), but at this point, for the sake of everything dear, I want to see them succeed. Wall Street went full derp on just the promise of regulatory repeal and tax cuts; to not deliver now may harm the market in a way that dramatically effects the whole.
