Just like people said above, other exchanges or people are not obligated to donate to Ukraine, but I still believe some would follow Binance, because it's not just helping the Ukrainian citizens, we also have to look at it in a marketing way as well, of course they want to help people but making it public obviously means more exposure which is like hitting two birds with one stone, so I believe other exchanges could donate too.

It is called a donation and no one is obligated to support Ukraine in the ongoing war or should we call it a Russian invasion, many donations have been made both in digital currency through Bitcoin and other popular altcoin Binance is the first among other exchanges that have given out a donation to support Ukraine and the even US government have given out cash support to Ukraine I don't see any reason why this goodwill should not be done most especially to support civilians.

What I am seeing here is the good impact of knowing that crypto specifically bitcoin has special role in this war crisis. People are now understanding the benefits of crypto when it comes to anonymity. Because before, if you send something, you use your credit or debit card that will show your details. Now, in terms of crypto, you can very well send any amount without divulging your identity to the public. The government or the organizations receiving this financial support will of course use to help these civilians. They can't send it directly to civilians because it will be chaos. Unless, you have direct relative to this country and you want to help them directly.

Whether it is an airdrop of tokens or a sincere donation, in the end, the leeks are cut, and it may not be useful for other countries to release donation information in the future.

Showing public support of Ukraine by opening charity funds and donating money is becoming more and more customary. Of course, nobody's obliged to do so, but those businesses that don't do anything and remain fully neutral can be attacked by their own users, face boycotts and accusations that can in the end cost them more than expressing their support and donating some money. But none, to my knowledge, did what the Ukrainian Minister of Digital Transformation asked to be done: freezing Russian accounts on major global crypto exchanges. The request is radical, and perhaps unlawful in the countries where exchanges are registered, so I, as a Ukrainian, am not mad that crypto exchanges don't follow through with this.

Gents, I have left Kyiv a week ago, evacuated to west of Ukraine. I was forced to stop and disassemble my rig, when it started to explode near home.

If anybody want to do donation of any size, I can convert this donation, give money to local defense force and make photos of what was bought for those money. Money will go directly to the defense of Ukraine.

Donations are a good thing, even Italy has donated 120 million euros in less than 24 hours, the questions I ask myself are many! Where do they send this money? Which wallet do the donated cryptocurrencies go into? Who distributes them? What do they buy with these? So many unknowns that have a cloud of dust, obviously in this particular period it is also complicated to understand how, but I remember that after 48 hours from the outbreak of the war, several scams have come about regarding donations, I don't want to be cynical, but I have many doubts

This is meant to be a free will donation if binance saw the need to donate it doesn't mean other exchanges are obligated to follow suit and who knows some might have done an anonymous donation or might have done their private donation and decided not no make it public. I believe Ukraine will still get more donations considering the level of damage following Putin's invasion

Well they are not obligated to do if they don't want to, but it would be nice to show some empathy, am also wondering who among rest of the exchanges will follow the footstep of binance, this is a trying time for the Ukrainians and they need any help they can get from well wishers all over the world, binance set a good example, lets see if other will follow.

I strongly believe they will but with time things will unfold. I it will also be a plus for the others if they take same step as binance did.

If you will read this article regarding crypto donations, which is updated, for Ukraine, you can say, crypto is really a good choice to transfer funds to them anonymously, without compromising your account details.

https://www.elliptic.co/blog/live-updates-millions-in-crypto-crowdfunded-for-the-ukrainian-military

Based from the below graph, they are already gathering millions of dollars of crypto donations as of 28th Feb. This article will be updated accordingly so it is good to bookmark if you want to follow the updates regarding crypto donations. Not only binance but thousands of donators are sending crypto to this country. It seems that the $10M Binance donation is not yet included in this chart.

It is nice how the turn up has been going on for Ukraine in terms of donation via Cryptocurrencies most especially bitcoin. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/millions-bitcoin-pouring-ukraine-donors-211016095.html?guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ29vZ2xlLmNvbS8&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAAJ9xWx8Li4rzR_8JZKn9XtmL_WZLN06N6cAS_y_dSerI7MXENmfr2ctQ_bRd2X-0QqGouCO7yvMG2VpmUhlm32KDGhhR-CTK7Hs0oko8DSalhjhkLARV1p8PlT2VXffG8Xa5LH59C4ymcZXq0uE5FCXH81oV7W9qHe91SIYk9Mn8
Also, Binance announced a $10,000,000 donation
https://www.binance.com/en/support/announcement/6bce8615076a4173a4738817c597b09e. With these happenings, do you think other exchange would follow suit just like binance and  what do you  think might likely be the consequences of this action if there is/ are any. What are your thought(s) over this? Your opinion(s) are highly welcomed.
