I’ll go with what I think has much bigger potential to increase its price,, AION and ICOn(icx) because I do invest on it but not much because I have to spread my investments throughout many tokens.. But in some point I want to purchase more bitcoin than any coin/token for trust reason and we can’t definitely deny that it is still the cryptocurrency ultimate model coin..

Ethereum, litecoin, ardor and monero would be good for starting. If you seek ones with more potential, you can take a look at ICO assets. They sometimes go up much better than the major ones I counted at the beginning of my post.

$5000 is a big money for me and before investing that into cryptomarket i would do tons of research about the crypto coins for investments and also small projects like ICO too. I always try to invest ina diversify portfolio rather than in a single coin and also i would like to invest 40% in bitcoin and 20% in Ethereum and litecoin and then 20% in coins like Monero, ripple, Zcash and dash and then go for smaller projects like Railblocks, stratis. By this way, my risk and reward are equally divided into percentage of coins of my portfolio.

Well if I have to start now with $5000, I would invest in many coins and tokens, to diversify the investment and minimize the risks. Of course I will choose firstly the most promising coins like BTC, ETH, LTC..and also investing in the most valuable ICO projects which have good potential.

What about a strategy as depicted bellow?
1. in the beginning when you don't have enough money ($5000 to $100k is nothing) you would go with the ones that give you the biggest Xs (ICOs, small altcoin projects)
2. then when you reach a level of $100k let's say you start moving to a more prudent portfolio with BTC, ETH and LTC going for a big chunk

I would put into the ones that are climbing on the markets as of now.
Lunyr is climbing at the right time as it is going up and down so always buy at the dip!
Of course the usual suspects. Ripple, monero, raiblocks, yada-yada-yada.

Don't to split to many coins or token. For coins, I can advise you to invest in BTC and ETH, these both will rocketing in this year.

The best and the safest option will be buy 5 ETH now ! I am pretty sure that like Bitcoin it will also cross 20k by the end of this year so basically if you buy 5 ETH now , by the end of this year you will have 100k USD and that's alot of profit right there . This was the safest method. Then inorder to make more profit , then you can buy ripples or Monero but I am not confident enough that the price of that will rise high.

With $5000 in assets is a huge number to invest. So i'll invest in bitcoin for $3000 and the rest invest in cheap altcoin below $0,6. Such as: Quantstamp (QSP), Bytom (BTM), Verge (XVG), DigiByte (DGB), Siacoin (SC), ReddCoin (RDD), and Dogecoin (DOGE). I hope this will be 50x coin for the future.

$5000 capital is big and for sure you can buy a lot of different altcoin. I suggest to you buy altcoin who price is less than $15 because if you buy that you can earn a lot of profit for sure ecause once the price of coin less price become high you will earn more than the highest price of altcoin. Here's the list of potential altcoin you buy in less than $15 waves coin, qtum, taas and komodo and for sure you will be hapoy if you buy this 4 altcoin because for me this coin gives to us high profit because possible the price of that coin become hundreds dollars in the next few months and possible thousands dollars in the next few years. But I suggest make a research first to make sure you choose good altcoin.
I agree, but imo not the coin's price matters but it's market cap and circulation supply. The x-factor is what it interests you not the delta gain per coin.

Half i will keep and hodl BTC and the rest will be traded in different alts because BTC has the most known Crypto known today and the benefits of trading many coins is if one specific coin pumps and one dumps you dont loose that much.

$5000 is good money to do trading. I think best is for you, buy bitcoin, otherwise ETH and LTC is also good coins. These all coins will give you big profit if you hold them for a time. But if you see in altcoin most of the cheapest price coins are here you could buy them. But is your choice but now bitcoin is more best for trading and if you want big profit.

In my opinion you should consider to pick out some well-growing coins and get attention of people to trade to invest in it. Maybe it is btc, eth, .. or any altcoin you feel it will increase in the next time. You should not invest all your money on only one coin, which is quite risky. And when you invest in any coin you must also watch the price fluctuations so that you can buy at the lowest price possible. good luck. if i have $5000 , i would invest on a lot of cryptos, coins like bitcoin , etherueum , Ripple , Monero etc. as well as pre-coins which i think that has a great potential to grow like DAC and NEX. 30% to bitcoin as it s more valuable than others and constantly growing.

I would say raiblocks but too late,
2 months ago was 2000 sats and now around ~180,000 sats
so now I would invest in bitcore instead, because it gives 5% airdrop every monday
to maximize return, keep hodl for the next 3 months
to minimize risk, I would liquidate the airdrop every week
so even if bitcore price dropped 50%, I wouldn't lose in BTC term
but too late, 2 months ago was 2000 sats and now around ~180,000 sats
so now I would invest in bitcore instead, because it gives 5% airdrop every monday

I prefer to invest those $5000 in bitcoin if there's only one coin to choose out of all because most prices of altcoins are sometimes dependent on bitcoin. Also there's a chance that you could get more coins in the future depending on how many bitcoins you have stored in your wallet.

Thats big amount for me, so I will spend it wisely in some coins instead of one coin only. Maybe I will use half of it hold bitcoin, 20% for ETH, 20% for Ripple and the other 10% for Stellar. I may change my choice anytime based on what is happening on the markets.

If i were given a chance to have $5000 and used to start my investments, I would choose to used it in different coins. Because I do believe that whatever coin were going to use im sure we can gain and have some profit.

It depends on the preference of every individual (some will not invest it into cryptocurrency). But for me $5000 is a huge amount of money and it's a good capital to start investing/trading in cryptocurrency, but if I have that huge amount of money I will not invest whole of it in just one cryptocurrency because that is too risky. What I would do is put huge part of it in Bitcoin and will look for a good altcoins for short term trades, (I will not recommend any altcoin to invest, you should do your own speculation), diversification is one of the best way to lessen your losses.

$ 5000 is pretty good amount to invest in cryptocurrency. I would like to suggest to divide it into 2 baskets. 50% for ripple and 50% for bitcoin. Both of these coins have a very high future potential compared to other coins. For bitcoin, I think it's obvious. And for Ripple, maybe you can visit the official website and learn a bit about the coins as well as what their target is.

I think i agree with you dude. Put eggs in one basket is more risk rather than split them into some different basket. Thats the wise sentence that i always remember everytime.
So i will devide into some altcoin like etherium is the most i like, waves, ripple, monero and litecoin. I prefer top marketcap altcoin.

How darn! Thats big money to distribute in the crypto currency. I would really suggest you to invest half of the portion into ETH this time because it is going to be ATH again. Before the year end people are literally speculating that this coin will go to 5K rates per ETH, and I believe in that speculation too. Besides this there are new emerging projects such as Verge (XVG) and also IOTA. We have seen them rising from the bottom to all in top 10 coins. So believe me they are on the verge of getting developed fully as well give us new prices.
As you have big investment available you can easily distribute this money into 5-7 different coins. I have full faith in XVG, IOTA, ETH and obviously in BTC.

You always want to diversify your portfolio, regardless of what you put your money into (be it stocks, crypto, land, etc.). With that in mind, I'd probably split my money between LTC, ETH, and BTC, with BTC having $3000 and LTC and ETH having 1000 each. We've seen that Bitcoin often rises when the altcoins go down, so by having some holding in both, you're able to assume a level of safety when one or the other goes down. Furthermore, when ETH and LTC go up, they're pretty explosive, so you'll end up getting some nice gains from that. I like to stick to significant coins based on their market caps so that I don't get stuck with a coin that can instantly drop dead.
