 i think one of the ways is for people to adopt cryptocurrencies as their means of payment , being a digital currency users wont have contact with any currency notes which is a way of contracting the virus. so if every transaction as well as payment for goods and services are done with digital assets then it will help prevent spread of the virus.

Surely that a great initiative taken by tokenPocket as it raises awareness among the community about the ongoing pandemic situation. But to be honest I don’t think this is necessary as governments of various counties are already doing this in a much efficient way.

So, instead of hosting that event and giving out the rewards to the community, that money can be lent out to provide medical services, equipment and to the people who are actually in need. I would say that this is more of a publicity tactic that is being used by the project then actually trying to help the world fight coronavirus (covid-19).

Not just token pocket are helping in this campaign I see the binance, toko team are helping on the pandemic for now the only we can do to fight this covid is thru praying and donating to help many people who was suffer on covid19 this pandemic kill may lives of people and many economic collapse because of this.

Many other crypto companies might also doing some program to help in theirs subordinates, They can donate in their government or do their own way of doing some relief operations or providing test kits which is common in some companies here in my country, their help can also be their way to be known that their company exist if they do noble donations.  For me as long as they took care of their employees and still keeping to sustain their business its enough, since many lose jobs and sadly many companies were closed. Hopefully,it wil not happen in crypto companies, for many they provide services for faster and safe transactions since we can do transacting without going place to avoid covid.

Some crypto exchanges like Binance and Kucoin already supported nations with masks and sanitizers to combat covid19. Also origin protocol and pledgecamp in their own little ways organized a crowdfunding event to provide masks too. If people stop circulating FIAT money from person to person (not digital transfers), and opt for crypto transactions, I think it will also go a long way to curb the spread of COVID19.

Of course that is the most appropriate step where a project raises charity funds at each event they participate in.  I am often active on Twitter and often see the Binance exchange sending hundreds of thousands of masks to every country that has experienced the Covid-19 disaster.  I think other projects can mimic the steps taken by Binance Charity.

Spreading awareness is a great thing I agree. But government has already done that. People don’t need some bounty campaign to understand that not wearing a mask could cost them their life. Instead of seeking attention and publicity, they could’ve simply donated the amount for helping the needy instead of distributing it amongst the event participants just like Binance donated $1,000,000 in $BUSD to fight against the covid-19 pandemic.

The people who still aren’t wearing mask are risking their own life and others even after knowing the consequences so instead of organizing awareness events, initiatives must be taken to penalize them heavily instead.

This was a really great initiative on how crypto world can help to promote wearing mask on people specially during this quarantine. This just make it a point that crypto world cannot just help when it comes to funding to support projects on how we can fight back against the infectious disease which is the covid-19 pandemic. With the prize pool being inserted on the campaign, surely there would be many participants that will be joining and that could lead to a massive promotion of wearing mask which can encourage many people to do the same thing. This event will surely gain massive acknowledgement and promotion to help the government and health care officials to give awareness on the importance of wearing mask at this time of pandemic.

But I think instead of baiting prize pool to gain many participants to join the campaign, this campaign must just serve to be a crowd funding event and the money gathered will be donated on the hospitals to eventually help them for funding since it is also one of the greatest problem being faced by healthcare facilities since they are already lacking of funds to buy equipments to fight against covid-19.

That's right, rather than making a project it's better to donate directly to organizations engaged in the distribution aid to covid victims. But we also have to be careful, because now many fake organizations are acting in the name of charities.

True! In the pandemic situation, working remotely is the requirement for most people. The cryptocurrency world although can't do much about curing the disease but can provide a way of earning money online. In that way, people can stay at home and making money without interacting with others (which helps social distancing). Furthermore, it offers people a way to make some money while in the pandemic if they have been laid off.

Not only for transferring money. If  They have plan to open a company which can be helpful in terms of having more jobs , the good thing about this is they can accept many new employer not as regular job but in online job  That will help prevent the disease from spreading further. Employees can also avoid socializing with other people if you can work at home.

There are some charity organizations like red cross that are legit that are accepting Bitcoin as a payment method, would be a good idea if a lot of people donates to these charity organizations using bitcoin, and that way they will get to know that the cryptocurrency community are out to help, and such will help to even get cryptocurrency to be more recognized.

Creating a coin right now will not work because for sure, less investors will invest on it since they need cash right now and not a shitty token that can be a possible scam attempt.

Right now the best way for crypto to help right now against the virus is to converting it into our own local currency and donate it to the those who are in need. Right now, I'm saving a percentage of my weekly payments in my current signature campaign and donating it to the right people so that at least I can share my blessings to them. Its a good way to remind us how important to wear mask. Other people are not taking it seriously and keep on going outside without any protection for themselves to prevent getting infected.

Well I remember a doctor once told that its not necessary to wear a mask if you're a healthy person or dont have cough or colds. But its better to be careful especially nowadays that you cant see the virus, well prevention is better than cure.

It's good to see the involvement of cryptocurrency in helping people during the pandemic. Binance had donated a huge amount of money to help fight against cryptocurrency and I hope that this will inspire other projects to get involved not just on awareness, but also to help other people especially those who are in the 3rd world country who needs medical professionals and supplies.

I heard that some companies began to use blockchain technologies to fight with the corona virus, but how exactly blockchain technologies will be used I don’t know, also many cryptocurrency companies and exchanges transfer their money to help the victims of the corona virus and to fight against the corona virus.

I have seen this, in which Binance Exchange donates millions of dollars to help to fight the Covid19 and I guess not only Binance doing it. AFAIK, Binance donating money like what happened in Australia which they also donated. For me, in this current situation of the world, the cryptocurrency becomes powerful like you can donate some funds even if you are at home and aside from that, it is the safest way to donate because we all know that virus can transfer through cash(fiat). This is our biggest problem if we are donating cryptocurrency cause there are still scammers who want to steal it, and I have a thread about this which they impersonated WHO to get the crypto donation.

But for me, the helpful thing we can do right now is to donate some cryptocurrency and promote some fundraising so that others can also be aware of these existing donations.

It's a contagious disease and they belittled it before. And for my life's sake, whether they were told by WHO not to wear masks, I will wear mask because that's the protocol and I know that's a way to protect myself from the enemy that I cannot see. The campaign was good and I think we need more of this kind of campaign whether it will be initiated by an individual or by a group like them. Another campaign of washing hands to avoid covid19 with a reward of a tradeable altcoin sounds good too.

The best way cryptocurrency can help fight coronavirus is to donate funds to medical support systems around the globe for provision of testing kits or just any material that is needed for safety this period. Aside donations, cryptocurrency cannot provide a cure but with donations and awareness of how to stay safe of the virus, they will contribute to the cure.

There are so many crypto platforms that are helping to fight the deadly coronavirus, there are so many donations came here in cryptocurrency and we sure do appreciate it a lot, even big companies are helping to provide donations from different country helping doest who are in need.

Either way, we cannot deny that here in the cryptocurrency platform we are more prone to scam so we better be careful to cryptocurrency or bitcoin donations since it cannot get back. We better verify first the website or address where we are going to donate. you mean people can do , not crypto  .  crypto cant be infected by a virus because is not a living thing and it doesnt also have a physical appearance   .

by the way , here on our place most establishments here are now close but few are still open and people still continue working on thier jobs   . trading is a good thing to do if you one of those that cant work anymore due to qurantine/lockdown but the only problem is the fund because others are not being paid too if they wont work  a.k.a no pay no work policies , one of the rules by thier companies  .

People who insist on not wearing mask really are troublesome. But this problem can be solved by a community/LGUs there on not allowing these people have their way without wearing mask. Here in my area, there were rules that prohibits people have their business outside, and prohibits from entering malls without 'em wearing a mask. Though having such kind of a game really helps to at least bring awareness, and warning how life threatening the virus can be if we won't cooperate to one another simply by doing necessary precautionary measures on our own. Love the idea, well, on the other hand I couldn't think of more beside accepting crypto as donations to charities, and beneficiaries to at least help as financial assistance, and be lessen the burdens they already have.

This could be one way for people to care more about maintaining health in the middle of a pandemic. But there is something that I disagree with, even if it is limited to Ava, but the use of the mask with the label n-95 can give an incorrect understanding, most people must think: having to wear an n-95 mask, besides the type of mask, it is not effective. That's a wrong understanding, in some places even have trouble getting the mask. Even though medical personnel are the ones who need it most because they have direct contact with patients. Whereas we, if we don't make direct contact, can choose to do activities at home and reduce outside contact, we can use ordinary masks, even cloth masks, as long as we pay attention to cleanliness, wash hands more frequently and physical distancing.

The best way would have been by taking out a percentage of profits from the crypro market and donating and providing people with precautionary or protective equipment but sadly most of the traders are in loss due to months of bears and alt holders are sinking deep so i think we can just hope and pray that this virus will soon be eliminated or there will be a real effective medicine available very soon so the world could come out of the fear of this pandemic and i hope the health authorities will work for solutions and prompt response for next time if such epidemic emerges again.

There is another way for the crypto community to save the world from coronavirus which is a win-win plan where we can post and tell the masses about cryptocurrency market and they can stay and home and invest, trade, mine or stake different cryptos and make some extra money while staying safe from corona in their own home.

A faster transactions since most of the banks are close because of the lockdown especially in my place, and crypto can be a big help to the world at least on this one. Many institution donates money, Binance did their part and most of the local community in my place also do their part to help, crypto can help us only if you accept it as a legal currency.

Nah, the people behind are also taking advantage of the Covid-19 situation and riding the hype to mask their intention. This is just a marketing ploy on their end to push their token. No difference from scammers and hackers posting Covid-19 related websites but the intention is to steal our money. If they really wanted to help, no one to used their token, just give money as form of donations, simply as that.

The help anyone can do for the fight against covid19 must be staying within home and even on coming into street maintaining the social distance the along with wearing mask and cloves. I'm not finding anything special that crypto world can do anything in terms of contribution for fighting against this covid but they can contribute in financial way. That will be more than enough what most of the governments are expecting right now.

I believe collecting relief funds will not be a big task in any crypto community and the most of the countries are looking for medical equipment and medical assistance which are possible when they are able to spend more money. So, just contributing in terms of finance will be more than enough in my opinion.

The lock-down essential broke our supply chains which could have been easily managed using blockchains.

Well, I wish only real crypto organizations are doing this. Seems these are indirectly promoting their companies in the process. So, it is not really a selfless donation in my opinion. A donation should be made without expecting anything selfish in return.
Some donate to be seen, admired, respected, etc. We should be donating in secret and not expecting sometimes "selfish" in return...That is true sacrifice!

I just feel like this trend we're heading to is very sad, stupid and terrible. We're following a path where in the end we'll have no more personality, no more warm family relationships (no hugs, no kisses, not even handshakes) etc. This will affect us permanently, especially the 5-10yo kids.

Let's be completely honest now - how does this trend really help us at all? First of all, someone who has a mask wears it uselessly if they don't respect the basics of wearing a mask. I swear, 6-8 out of 10 touch the mask while wearing it. Many are taking it off when talking, some don't even put it on their face properly. I'll underline once again the lack of education which leads to all of these. In Romania we have ads created by the government for tips on how to protect against the virus but we have never seen an official advertisement about how to properly wash your hands and wear a mask. I have just found out about 2 months ago that the way I wash my hands and I thought a mask should be wore were completely wrong.

Just my opinion. Feel free to disagree with me. I'd be 101% for these measures if I knew they'd only affect us now and not in the future too. But think realistically & logically for a bit - they'll affect & change us forever. Politics are going to be different. The way we buy things. The way we socialize. The meaning of entertainment. In my opinion, the best way for the crypto-industry players to help fight the COVID-19 pandemic is to donate any available resources to help buy, the necessary equipment and gears (PPE's) to our front-liners, as we can see on the news everywhere that the equipment (PPE's) shortage is happening around the globe if all the crypto-currency based companies were able to donate any available resources I'm sure it will help a lot for our fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

I don't see anything great in this campaign. It is just another way to market their own token using the pandemic we are facing right now. Changing avatar with mask, is not gonna bring any change in people's. If they really want to help people in this difficult time, they should be donating masks to the poor people for every retweet made by the community. That would have been a better contribution towards the society.

Donating is what we can do right now to help the frontliners and the health workers who are working to prevent and cure the people who have COVID-19 but we should be smart especially if we will donate cryptocurrencies because there are many con artist out there who seems an organization who will help the frontliners but the truth is they are scammers. Before we donate we should be sure that it is a trusted organization or individual who will help the frontliners.

World Health Organization told that mask is not needed for everyone and they only insisted social distancing to reduce the demand for mask but recently they told its better to wear mask by everyone whenever they go outside that maybe the reason why many people confused about wearing masks.

That's a good reminder because, despite lockdown, there are people who are still insisting not to wear a mask.
