Just to update this I tried Ledger live on another pc and balance was the same.
I tried Electrum and balance was the same.
Electrum history was easy to read with a running balance and it seems the balance prior to the transaction was wrong on ledger live.
The balance showing was actually the balance before the previous transaction I had made.
Thanx for the help.

I use 99% of the cases my ledger with Electrum exactly because it's better software.
Since the transaction as shown by any block explorer tells that only 0.03 + fee should be missing and the wallet should show 0.91846058 BTC you should be fine, meaning no money is actually missing.
So if your wallet doesn't show 0.91846058 BTC, get a better wallet. I also advise Electrum with Ledger, and the way to set your wallet is already presented. It may be a bit more complicated, but you can ask on this forum everything you are unsure of.

I would however remind some (important) rules:
* Get Electrum only from electrum.org no google or other stuff. Later updates will also need you go to same site and steps.
* After download verify signature https://bitcoinelectrum.com/how-to-verify-your-electrum-download/
* After installing Electrum change its defaults from mBTC to BTC (and you can also enable display the amount in USD or EUR) to avoid confusion for amounts.

yes history says sent 0.03 and using latest firmware.

Then your balance didn't reduce by 0.07.

This most likely is just a displaying issue. ledger live is a horrible software.
I'd definitely also recommend you to use a better interface to access your hardware wallet. Both electrum and wasabi are recommendable.

The only thing that actually matters is finding out if 33yvXaH8ZvebD5ZTBTYzVUrAKCEaCiA1eR is a change address generated by your wallet. If it is, it's just a visual glitch, if it isn't there's a problem.

Since the input used is 0.94x BTC, he would be missing more than just 0.07 if this address wasn't part of his wallet.

Most likely just ledger live being ledger live  Grin

Do you check already transaction history? If you are positive that you only send 0.03BTC in one person and you are using the updated firmware version, Your best move is to wait customer support reply on your ticket because the error might be on your ledger. I get this error sometimes when I have an outdated firmware. My balance  becomes updated once I update my device.

Ledger live sometimes "hangs" on my machine aswell... Stopping the app and restarting usually does the trick. However, i usually use ledger in combination with electrum... I don't restore my wallet, but actually couple my ledger to electrum:

This is safe to do, and electrum has a lot better coin controll features....

Yes positive it reduced by 0.07 and already tried clearing cache in ledger live the balance didn't change.

So the transaction history is showing that you've sent 0.03 BTC, but the balance is displaying otherwise? This look like nothing but a visual glitch. Have you tried to install Ledger live on another device? Or you could also try to recover your wallet into Electrum and see if it's showing the same thing. I would only suggest doing the latter if the wallet is empty and you're willing to wipe the device to create another seed afterward.

Are you sure your balance was reduced by 0.07 BTC? You only paid 0.00017976 BTC in fees and you indeed only sent 0.03 BTC.

Are you using Ledger Live? Try going to Settings -> Help -> Clear cache; and see if the balance corrects itself.

It was probably due to the mining fees. Could you share the id of the transaction?

I recently made a transaction paying 0.03btc and my balance reduced by 0.07btc. The coin is stored on a Ledger Nano S. Is there any reason why this could happen?
I have raised a ticket with Ledger support but not had a reply.
