reCaptcha is make some changes again few days ago, most people have problems to solve it - it takes too long time (captcha is too slow loading pictures), or we need to solve it few times. It is true that Google target user IP, but even if user change IP by turn off/on modem captcha is working normal only a short time. So it means they block certain countries IP addresses or maybe ISP.

While I was testing this error, I had to solve ~20 reCAPTCHAs over Tor, using a different Tor identity for each. I didn't have any problems other than this incorrect-captcha-sol error happening maybe 10% of the time. It took me 60 seconds on average to get the green checkmark.

I have already suggested before RainCaptcha as an additional captcha to the forum, but there was no answer. I'm not sure how much is good this captcha, but I am sure it is not easy to beat : https://raincaptcha.com/en

It looks too easy for computers.

A "good solution" is to do the captcha in a very slow way, you can click 1st objectve wait 10 second, click the second and going on.

Edit a good read found here: https://tor.stackexchange.com/questions/15879/captcha-problem-in-tor

He says:
Well, a "captcha case" is quite common one using Tor. You need to change the exit node to try again - the problem is that there're not-so-much-as-needed exits and you can hit a hevily-used exit node, or an abused one. So - just change it and try again! it's a trial-and-error approach, nothing else. A control protocol command is "SIGNAL NEWNYM"

It's probably much easier than you think: download Tor Browser, and run it.
Wow, thank you for your help, @LoyceV.
I downloaded Tor Browser and enjoy it with my own experience now.

Very annoying. reCAPTCHA is returning the undocumented error code incorrect-captcha-sol. Apparently this means that reCAPTCHA has banned your IP address temporarily due to too many incorrect tries or other suspicious behavior. If you go back and retry it without getting a new circuit, it will eventually work, but it might take a few tries. I added a more informative error for this case. Nothing much else I can do in the short-term.

Long-term, I plan to let people buy 1000 one-time "captcha bypass codes" for $1 (or something like that), and then you could copy/paste a code into the form instead of solving the captcha. I'd like to just use a different captcha service, but AFAIK reCAPTCHA is the only captcha which can't be beaten by computers.

Did anyone figure out exactly why this happens and anyone can confirm if it got worse for you too? Sometimes it takes like 5+ attempts toggling circuits until it logs in.
There's a time limit, as jackg already posted. As for the "why": some say Google is using the many fast connections made by recaptcha to track users through other means (but I don't know the details of how that works).

As a work-around: if you allow your Tor browser to store cookies, you don't have to use captcha each time. It's bad for privacy, but if you only use that specific Tor browser for this forum, I'd say it's acceptable.

Afaik, only your registration IP and your post IP are registered so you can login from your regular internet connection and then switch your browser to using tor beyond that point (using the 127.0.1.1:9105 or whatever the port is that you need)...
This defeats the purpose of using Tor. You should always assume all activities are registered.

I would like to know how to use Tor.

It is not relating to your question, but I would like to know how to use Tor.
Can you give me links to your most favorite documents related to Tor and how to use it, please.

https://bit.ly/387FXHi lightning theory
I know this error.

On top of the number of captchas you actually have to solve, there is also a 60 second limit (or some similar time limit) that means that once that session expires, your captcha solves won't be very helpful. Meaning, you could actually probably do with some sort of bot to solve the captchas in order to solve all 40 in a fast amount of time Grin (the last time it took me about 40 to get bored and turn back to clearnet).

I use Tor a lot because I there's a lot of people here trying to dox each other, as well as disabling javascript too of course (except when you have to enter the captcha and to get past the initial javascript blocked by cloudfare thing that shows up sometimes)

Anyway, the point is, lately it's really tedious to log in with Tor. The "incorrect captcha" message is getting worse at least for me. What I mean is, that after completing the captcha and getting the green check that it was correct, you get a message within the forum that says incorrect captcha. Did anyone figure out exactly why this happens and anyone can confirm if it got worse for you too? Sometimes it takes like 5+ attempts toggling circuits until it logs in.
