Besides gambling platforms, Forex trading platforms are now being promoted more through YouTube. Now people spend most of their free time on video streaming platforms and that's why video streaming platforms like YouTube are used as a good medium for various product and service promotion and it is very effective. And gambling sites also benefit from this because they get a lot of gamblers from there
I do not get bombarded by gambling ads, but sometimes I get bombarded by forex ads, which makes me angry. The reason being that I have no idea about forex trading and neither have I searched for this scam on YouTube. As I was getting annoyed with those advertisements, I did a Google search and found out that sometimes ads are also location-specific. That might be another reason why irrelevant ads suddenly start showing up on YouTube without any apparent reason.

Forex ads are also very annoying, especially since a lot of these ads are actually not real forex trading platforms, so trades made on the site are like gambling because movements are not based on market movements so that many of their users will only lose money without having the opportunity to make a profit because of this. is booming in my country.
Gambling ads are more prevalent when I access social media, every ad that appears will be dominated by gambling. If those who receive this ad are those who don't understand how gambling works, of course they will think that this is an opportunity to earn a lot of money because gambling ads contain a lot of money. that can be obtained even though it is not true 100%, it is highly recommended to use filters so that ads from things we don't want to see will not appear.

Yes, you are right, currently there are a lot of skip ads on YouTube about Forex trading, and not only on YouTube, but also on social media, before or in the middle of short videos, ads are being advertised which are very annoying.  Even if we want to avoid them, it is not possible because at least 3 seconds we have to see it compulsorily. they often make us angry. Social media and video streaming sites have now started promoting a huge amount of ads which annoys us

Maybe we have consciously never visited gambling or forex sites, but we don't know that our family who live in the same house use the same internet wifi, maybe they have clicked on forex ads or gambling sites, so it is certain that you will also be flooded with advertisements for both. this is only based on my experience, the rest is looking for ways to avoid annoying ads, I usually use the free Brave browser without any ads.  Wink
What you said is possible, someone within the family might have accidentally clicked on one of those ads. Once clicked, they keep bombarding especially on social platforms from Meta. YouTube doesn't make life as hell like those platforms do with advertisements. Brave is a good browser, but adblock doesn't work when using a mobile device. The ads keep coming and coming on those apps; sometimes rebooting the phone works in my favor.

Gambling sites have chosen platforms like youtube tiktok as a major place for their advertisement because of which the sides invest a lot of money in these places and we know that youtube and tiktok buy data from Google and other companies to understand their algorithms, what an internet user is constantly searching for. and that's why if you search for something anywhere you will see all kinds of related ads on platforms like youtube and tiktok when you visit them.
Yes, indeed these platforms are media that seem quite interesting and promising for the promotion of gambling sites. In fact, not only on these platforms, but also in various online games and online books or novels, Gambling advertisements will appear. Wow, this is really amazing. I wonder how much interest the users have, so they do such a big promotion.

Most of the times we see gambling campaigns on various social media including YouTube. I think those who do gambling campaigns are very smart. Because they know very well where they can get good amount of gamblers. Nowadays YouTube is one of the most popular media.  I got interested in gambling after seeing a gambling ad on YouTube one day. Gambling has become a deadly addiction for me now.

Yes, that can also be one of the reasons why there are often advertisements that are irrelevant for us to see, but it all depends on how we surf the internet, if you are a gambler and frequently access or have clicked on gambling advertisements it seems the system will read you are a gambler where are you You will find gambling advertisements anywhere, whether it's social media or your YouTube account, because I think the key is in the internet network that we use.

Advertisers go where the people go, and as we know social media websites are some of the most popular websites around the world and it is natural that advertisers are now giving a greater weight to the advertising they do there, however I do not think this is going to last long as governments are already showing signs they do not like this and at some point some regulation may be put in place which restricts the level of advertising casinos can do on those platforms.
Social media visitors and their users have experienced a significant increase in making advertisers follow them and place advertisements on social media. And while the government doesn't like this and imposes rather strict regulations, that hasn't stopped advertisers from sticking with their ads and looking for other places that might get a lot of interest from people. Besides that, people definitely don't like the many rules the social media team implements because they think it will limit their socializing. And this is what advertisers use to be able to attract the interest of people who stick around using social media.

I'm asking out of curiosity, are you guys experiencing a surge of gambling ads on youtube videos lately? this past week I've experienced an increased encounter of gambling ads on videos I watch on youtube. it's not that it bothers me, I am just surprised because I don't remember getting this many gambling ads on youtube videos in the past, but this past week, I usually get a gambling ad from 2-3 out of 5 videos I watch(it's just an estimation because of how often I get the ads). I don't know if it is because I recently watched several videos of streamers gambling or it's just a coincidence, I've watched streamers gambling videos in the past but I have never gotten this many gambling ads.

Yes, for several reasons...

Gambling ads are expanding across multiple media, not just YouTube, so it's normal to see more of them even if it's not influenced by any other factor.

Another issue is the type of videos you watch, Google's intelligence will always try to deliver you relevant ads. So if you watch more videos about gambling or "how to make money" it's normal that gambling ads are more predominant for you.

If the last point I mentioned is not your case, then Google is probably learning your habits based on your searches and pages you visit. My recommendation is that you use an anonymous browser like DuckDuckGo and a browser that respects your privacy like Brave for example.

Until now I have been waiting to see if there is advertising or some type of ADS regarding the casinos but nothing, maybe the YouTube algorithm does not detect that I need something like that, even though sometimes I look a lot at dice game strategies about casinos, slot machines, roulette, things that have to do with casinos, but nothing, I don't know to what extent the ocsa can manifest themselves in the algorithm of the social network,
It differs per user and you're right about their algorithm and you haven't probably been not searching a lot about casinos. Or the browser you're using isn't associated with them since we do know that Google Chrome and YouTube are owned by Alphabet.

however , I don't see a bad idea that they can advertise, as long as it is in a very moderate way.
Try to search around and just view page results and you might see some banners from those websites you quick each search result. Until you type keywords that relates to gambling or casino, I think that could be the start if you're mostly browsing on YT and not with a browser.

Youtube Revenue are not generated that way, people give ads for Youtube to run it for them, they cannot decide to run ads without payment from any company or when they are not instructed to make awareness in their platform, the algorithm might be the cause maybe even a bug might have been the reason why the increase in the gambling ads since they know that the US is fighting alternative way to reduce gambling advertisement everywhere and not just US alone, other countries are concern by the rise of gambling ads everywhere, they know that this companies are making money from it and players are the ones who usually make the lost at the end of the day, the gambling house always win at the end.
I agree, the one who wants to be  advertised are the one who will pay a huge sum of payment to YouTube. Knowing that YouTube is one of the best platform to use now to engage and reach more people, we cannot deny the fact that obviously people will use the platform, it is a little amount to be spend for the return of people who will watch the ads and will go to their website to play. Even a little banner in yt or in another platform are useful for advertising.
This is something very simple and easy to understand, casinos are always going to look for a way to have publicity, because they know that good marketing attracts players to their sites, personally, with YouTube what is produced is a very wide , in view of the fact that advertising on YouTube is very annoying, and apart from that nobody wants to buy YouTube premium , they sell casino advertising because the simple fact is that casinos pay better for advertising, apart from users who search YouTube for game information , the algorithm detects them and begins to avoid them, that is something that is Always true.

Casino owners allocates budget for marketing and like what you mentioned they will use all available channel to promote their business and attract potential targets that will bring them traffics and possible gamblers to use their platforms, whatever means they will pay for it just to have publicity and have that attention to earn views in their site.

Views and visits that they can convert into gamblers that will use their services. Watever the promotions and offers, they will always find ways to engage people..

Yes, in the end these strategies are usually very good, the only thing is that when we are on YouTube there is a lot of advertising and that is annoying, I have not come across any casino or betting advertising, I watch a lot of YouTube, because I have a baby from 21 months old, and she watches a lot of youtube, the classic baby songs, and things like that, where they teach them things, but the advertising is kind of overwhelming, I don't know, but those things exhaust me, so I don't know if the advertising of casinos is so onerous with casinos.

Until now I have been waiting to see if there is advertising or some type of ADS regarding the casinos but nothing, maybe the YouTube algorithm does not detect that I need something like that, even though sometimes I look a lot at dice game strategies about casinos, slot machines, roulette, things that have to do with casinos, but nothing, I don't know to what extent the ocsa can manifest themselves in the algorithm of the social network, however , I don't see a bad idea that they can advertise, as long as it is in a very moderate way.

Those special applications, tools, and browsers can only help one avoid web-based ads and not ads that are included in a video such as on YouTube, there are only two ways one can avoid gambling ads from YouTube, the first one is as you said to purchase Premium package and get rid of all kinds of ads and watch ad-free videos, or alternatively, one can create and use a new Gmail account so that they don't have any history or records in their Gmail which is basically how you get those targeted ads.

The reason why we get those ads is that we at some point have searched for something with the same keyword such as 'gambling', and they have it associated with your account and they show you targeted ads based on that. Whatever you search online is recorded and used for advertisements that are shown to you.

I can imagine how angry those who, just for the sake of interest (to understand the chances of the teams he follows/supports), watches the quotes of bookmakers, and then he is bombarded in all possible ways with advertising from casinos and bookmakers  Grin
But such are the algorithms of search engines - they give us a convenient service, and in return they collect information about us, which they then sell to advertisers.
It would not be so bad if the level of advertising you were subjected to was reasonable, but websites have the incentive to show as many ads as possible to their users, so you are bombarded by many adds and this can be really annoying, however even if things are bad I do not think they are as bad as they were on the early days when the internet was just getting popular and you had to watch huge banners everywhere, since at least now you can block most of the ads anyway with the right extensions.

We use youtube most of the time and watch videos there and only youtube has huge amount of influencers who have different kind of promotion. and now they have started promoting rights to gambling sites. because influencers get paid the same amount of money promoting other projects or products, gambling sites get paid more than that. and this is why influencers are heavily involved in gambling site promotion. and besides this, gambling sites are also focusing on skip ads and that's why we see gambling ads constantly
YouTube has gained popularity around the world, with a plethora of Influencers ready to promote and advertise gambling or trading companies. Influencers are available to promote gambling sites through their YouTube channel that has a high number of views and enough traffic; it's good business whenever there are significant views on a video uploaded on YouTube; it's primarily for the general public, either to enlighten them on gambling sites through online advertisements or to persuade them to participate in there sites, such as creating and registering accounts with them.

The development of social media today is so extraordinary that it makes many companies interested and create accounts on each social media. And social media is a place for promotion for all companies to develop their business. Gambling sites also have accounts on social media to reach more gamblers and provide various kinds of promotions there. And maybe that's what makes Youtube advertisements increase because many companies are already aware of it.

Good point, they will use all the avenue to advertise and attract people to use and support their business, and same with how a regular business owners are doing, gambling business will also use the same opportunity to get the attention of more people to play and use their services, I think it's more on how you adopt and embrace the reality that technology are bringing and just avoid things that you think is irrelevant to what you need.

I think that rather creating a completely new Google account, it would be easier just to go to the setup of the account and un-check the options for customized advertisements, as I explained some posts back in this thread.

Also, there is a chance Google could realize your are using the new account from the same IP of the previous or original one, and they started to send the same customized ads again. I am not sure how likely is that to happen, but sounds like something Google would do, imo.
Yes , he can customize it. Having an annoying ads really upsets me as well. Or what if can he try to clear cache, history and cookies and let's see if they will still show the same ads like before? I think they rely on his browsing history so whatever he browse it will be matched in his algorithm and it will be shown in ads and that will be shown always when he goes to yt.

Actually it's quite easy to avoid gambling ads on YouTube by subscribing to YouTube premium, but the problem here is that we have to pay to avoid gambling ads and there are other problems like gambling ads not only appearing on YouTube but also on Google when searching for something we want to find.
I read from several people that there are lots of free ways to avoid gambling ads by means of special applications or cryptic browser methods.
