This might be bad news for the US. Why? Both India and China are into natural medication... get well by herbs. But India has fared better in this area. They have higher IQs because they follow the herb program better.

There is the Bacopa Leaf (extract), Sceletium tortuosum (from Africa, but well known and used in India), Gotu Kola Extract, and Gingko Biloba (from China but well known in India). These are among top brain herbs that the thinkers in India use to keep their brains sharp. It's why we have so many India Indian doctors in the USA.

Now, because of lack of foresight in India, China might be getting trade from Afghanistan that we could have had through India. Consider that our China relations are becoming a bit shaky lately.

Escobar: India Implodes Its Own New Silk Road

There was a time when New Delhi was proudly selling the notion of establishing its own New Silk Road – from the Gulf of Oman to the intersection of Central and South Asia – to compete with China's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).

Now it looks like the Indians have stabbed themselves in the back.

In 2016, Tehran and New Delhi signed a deal to build a 628-km rail line from strategic Chabahar port to Zahedan, very close to the Afghan border, with a crucial extension to Zaranj, in Afghanistan, and beyond.

The negotiations involved Iranian Railways and Indian Railway Constructions Ltd. But in the end nothing happened – because of Indian foot-dragging. So Tehran has decided to build the railway anyway, with its own funds – $400 million – and completion scheduled for March 2022.

The railway was supposed to be the key transportation corridor linked to substantial Indian investments in Chabahar, its port of entry from the Gulf of Oman for an alternative New Silk Road to Afghanistan and Central Asia.

Upgrading rail/road infrastructure from Afghanistan to its neighbors Tajikistan and Uzbekistan would be the next step. The whole operation was inscribed in a trilateral India-Iran-Afghanistan deal – signed in 2016 in Tehran by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and then Afghan President Ashraf Ghani.

India cares about a geopolitical issue and they're trying to put pressure on China. Once all of this is resolved all of these apps will be welcomed back into Indian phone app stores with open arms.
Indian intelligence claims that political leaders and military officers are under surveillance of Chinese governments and these apps helps their smartphone to work as transmitter. Not sure how much this actually true but we all knows about China and their untrustworthy activities on many occasions.

Some of this applications are almost everywhere in the world and imo China may not mind if India bans them in their country.
They care lot about Indian users because India has 140 million population and tiktok claims that 30% of their users are from India alone so Chinese government is making lot of profits from the Indian users and one thing I want to mention Tiktok is planning to invest 1 Billion USD in India alone for the development activities.

Ah, I see the whole political leaders and military officers angel which really could be a national security risk. I'm pretty sure that the US has started to ban servicemen(and women) from using certain apps on their work / personal devices that are on bases. There was a whole scandal regarding one military app that showed people where secret US military bases were -- and this was public information that was totally not meant to spy on people (https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/jan/28/fitness-tracking-app-gives-away-location-of-secret-us-army-bases#:~:text=Fitness%20tracking%20app%20Strava%20gives%20away%20location%20of%20secret%20US%20army%20bases,-This%20article%20is&text=Sensitive%20information%20about%20the%20location,by%20a%20fitness%20tracking%20company.)

But yeah, this is about money when it comes to the 30% of their users being Indian. Large amount of money to be made there in ads.
Scarry! In the middle of the night people had to evacuate, bullets flying elsewhere, I cant imagine the fright of these little children had to go through, I am praying for the Peace and for this senseless cold hearted mind leaders.

My friend this is not new for China doing all those things. They are Bullying other Country like what they are doing in Philippines. They are Bullying Filipino Fishermens and Squatting our Islands and Territories (near to Pag-asa Island) even We Won In UN Court.

Oh yeah, I and I think everyone else here knows that. But I am happy that you're bringing up that this isn't new. This is kind of a thing that all countries with power will do at some point, though China will take it to an extreme as they want to be just like the US when it comes to being a superpower.

China will invest money into countries who need it, and then leverage those investments to force countries to do what they want -- maybe that is voting their way in the UN, supporting them in different disputes, etc.

Good point to bring up though, very important for people to notice that China bullying countries isn't isolated.

They know their citizens and everyone following how tensions have erupted between India and China is not going to believe that this apps are banned to stop China from spying, or safeguarding their citizens privacy, this apps have been working in India for quite some time unhindered, did the tensions just make them realize that the apps are bad, well they had to give an excuse.

I don't know how much China makes when this apps are up and running in India, but the Indian govt obviously want to cut that out for now. Some of this applications are almost everywhere in the world and imo China may not mind if India bans them in their country.

Can we talk about the fact that countries are only going to flex the fact that they 'care' about their citizens privacy when there is some sort of geopolitical issue going on? They're not doing this to protect their people from China spying on them, they're doing this to put pressure on Chinas economy in a market which is booming (India)
Geopolitical issue is the main reason for India to ban these apps but not to decrease their income just to save their country from spying.Indian intelligence reported that China is spying on the government officials locations and their chats with the help of these apps so they banned it.

But those apps will be working soon in my opinion because Tiktok tweeted that they were invited by Indian government to explain their data tracking procedure means if everything is clear then apps will be back.

But that's not what they're caring about, they really don't care if China is spying on their people. Just like the US doesn't care about their people in regards to privacy. TikTok (and other Chinese apps) are all booming in the US.

Countries really don't care about this sort of thing b/c they know it's the norm. Only when they think they can get something out of it will they show that they care. Leaders are going to look really good right now even if its all theater.

I was reading a news today that was saying that the tiktok is working on website in India. Don't know how much this news is correct But thinking that what will be the next step of India.
No the app is completely stopped working, even if we connect them using VPN still the same so government is really strict with the bans unlike previous bans which was only resulted in removing them from playstore alone for days.
