Maybe its possible that the Bot from Mitchell or from any other User that using one can catch them !
The easiest way would be Mitchells one as they get instant deleted with it , other only reporting them but thats also good.
If the Accounts new created and Newbies that are spamming there all other Moderators can deal with them also if they have the time for .

I've added the goodhash stuff to MindlessElectron, which will deal with them if they are a newbie. If you see any other spam waves, feel free to PM/ping me.

You can read my reply there, but the update is that it has been dealt with, and hopefully shouldn't be a problem anymore. Although, if you do find some posts left over then report them so we can clean up, as they came thick, and fast we probably missed a couple.

I don't know how to defend the forum effectively from this type of attack, spammers seem to have found a weak point, and now they are massively exploiting it.
Not really, all forums are suspect to this sort of spam. I think it was dealt with quite quickly, and efficiently. They had minimal exposure, and there are things in place to protect against this sort of thing, but until you know what your up against, you can't counteract it. So, these sort of spam attacks are always worse when they've just began.

I think automoderation bots or patrol are meant to deal with these sorts of things. If it's done by low ranked members, it mightve been enough just to bring it up here so patrollers can pay more attention to it.
As far as I can see, the Indian local board does not have its moderator, and only one spam thread already has over 500 views - which means that spammers have focused on that board for the reason that their posts there will be the longest visible. I reported already tons of user spamming good hash website on all old thread on India Mining Board. But the spam keeps increasing in a terrible rate. I think they are using bot to spam because they are using different account on each thread.
