The Stone the masons rejected was the cornerstone.
I have this bankruptsy proceeding original mailed document

That brings back alot of memories....I believe I received one way back then as well and probably ended throwing it away.

But I did manage to buy one a few years back to add to my ever growing MTGOX collection.

So yes it is a part of history.

Looking to buy any of the above mentioned stuff if anyone is looking to sell Smiley

Would love to help you out but I'm fairly certain I already sold mine.  Now that mtgox is heating up in the news with a potential distribution on the horizon to their creditors, I imagine these types of items will have another day in the sun.  It is a pretty big part of Bitcoin history and as crazy as it is to say, I'm actually glad I got to be a part of it.  I don't believe I have any mtgox memorabilia left (except the silver goxxed coin) but I do still have a Butterfly Labs coffee mug around somewhere.  From time to time I catch someone drinking out of it and let them know the mug cost me 450 BTC so enjoy the coffee!

Interested in parting with the Goxxed coin or know anyone that would. Smiley

It took me a long time to finally get all of these together. Search is over Cheesy

Congrats!  Couldn't have been easy getting people to part with these.  I'm still waiting for someone to make me an offer I can't refuse for my mtgox yubikey.

Thanks OG! Your right...very hard to find and harder to get people to part with them. There is so much Bitcoin history in these too!

Great information Krogo.  I have a key and purchase receipt from Mt. Gox and they offered the key with or without the Logo.

Thanks for sharing the information.

Nice piece of memorabilia you have with the receipt Dolph

And yes I have seen them with and without the logo.

I did join MT GOX but thankfully never sent them any BTC to hodl!

  Hopefully the same with you.

Who doesn't remember MT. GOX and the fallout of one of the largest Bitcoin thefts in history.

What lots of people are not aware is MT. GOX came out with a Yubi key and a One Time Password card to add an extra layer of security when logging to the website.

Its ironic that a few months down the line Mt GOX would shut down due to a breach of their security and a loss of a staggering 850,000 Bitcoins!

It took me a long time to find this collectable rarity, I had to go thru the highways and byways of Bitcoin channels.....as not that many were purchased and the ones that were, were probably discarded.

Regardless, the following is information I was able to get from a coin desk article written in  Jan 13, 2014 prior to MT GOX collapsing.

Japan-based bitcoin exchange Mt. Gox has announced some new updates and features to its platform including a one-time password (OTP) card.

This battery-powered password generator is linked to a user's account, and can be used for an additional layer of security, either by storing a unique password or generating a new one every time a user performs actions such as logging in or initiating a withdrawal online.

The card costs $39.99 and is shipping now. For more information about the Mt. Gox OTP card, the exchange has produced a resource guide.

As for the YUBIKEY which is slightly less rare than the card, the following article was written by July 26, 2011 /PRNewswire

Yubico, a leading provider of easy and secure login solutions, today announced its YubiKey is providing two-factor authentication for Mt. Gox and their customers. Mt. Gox is an exchange that allows people to trade US Dollars (USD) for Bitcoins (BTC) or Bitcoins for US Dollars with other Mt. Gox users.

After Mt. Gox's database was compromised last month when a user account was hacked, they needed a much more secure solution to offer their customers to prevent another security breach from happening. The YubiKey was attractive to them because it gave them the option to generate the cryptographic secrets and manage authentication themselves plus they were able to quickly and easily deploy an affordable solution to their customers in just two weeks from the breach.  As Yubico's software is free and open source, there are no setup fees which enabled Mt. Gox to rapidly implement strong authentication.

"The security of our traders is paramount. Hindsight is 20/20 they say, and if we would have known that the YubiKey security solution was so quick to implement and cost efficient prior to our security breach, we could have saved ourselves and our users a world of headaches," said Adam Turner, Support Team Leader at Mt. Gox. "Having now gone through the process of re-launching our online exchange with YubiKey, we feel that we're now in the best position to offer our customers a secure trading experience. The YubiKey is one very big step towards re-establishing trust and confidence with our traders."

The YubiKey simplifies the process of logging in with a One-Time Password (OTP) token as it does not require the user to re-type OTPs from a display device into the login field of the computer. The YubiKey is inserted in the USB port of any computer and the OTP is generated and automatically entered with a simple touch of a button on the YubiKey, without the need to install any client software or drivers. The rugged, ultra-thin, battery-free, crush safe and waterproof design has also been fundamental to the success of the YubiKey, currently used by a million users globally.

"With the increase in online fraud and security breaches, it is extremely important that companies protect their customer databases," says Stina Ehrensvärd, Yubico CEO. "We are pleased to see Mt. Gox customers can now trade with confidence by using a YubiKey to securely access their accounts."
