Thanks! I will need to check all of mine, I think I have 16-17 pieces.
While I was recently authenticating a small CryptoArt piece for a client I noticed that the red security sticker was not fully adhered to the metallic security seal underneath it.
This made think that other pieces may be affected by this same problem
I was able to check a total of 33x small (8.5x11) CryptoArt pieces.... 5x of them had this issue and 1x of them were compromised (read/see below)
While this would not affect a piece if it is kept within your collection, but any resales may lead to problems later if nefarious parties get a hold of the private key... which is possible as the small strip of paper easily slides out if the opening is big enough.
One other thing I noticed was on the first pieces he made, "Bits of Change". A while back, a batch of these were sold to many of us here on the forum and were never checked for any compromise.
Looking at the picture/seal now, it does appear that the previous owner breached the seal to get the key information.
I would recommend that these are compromised and should not be loaded
